everything worked to spec. perfect measurement. got a kit that was cheaper and had to return due to it being incorrect for the pin depth. this kit was right on the money. highly recommend!!

Quality machine work and easy to use. Although I have experiance setting up diff, if I had none I would have been able to use this set-up with no problem. The instructions that came with the kit were well written and easy to understand. The price was high however, you don't get quality unless you pay for it. Well worth the cost.

I have not used this yet to set up my new gear set, but I'm glad I spent the extra for this over a no name imported copy.

I have to admit, I bought "Brand X" with the purple topped box first because it was around $50 cheaper. I had nothing but issues out of that one. You really do get what you pay for.I returned it and bought this one, the T&D Machine brand and it was 100% perfect. After setting up a few gears the old way (press bearings on, read pattern, remove bearings, +/- shims, repeat repeat repeat) this felt like cheating. Once on with the bearing, measure, take off the bearing, add correct shim stack and it's perfect. I wish I'd have bought this years ago instead of struggling the old way!Now I can do a few gears on the side and the tool will pay for itself many times over.

The only thing to not like about it is the price tag. They have a monopoly on these things. I also found it difficult to figure out, but the instructions were good.It works on a Chrysler 8.25 axle even though it doesn't say that it does. I used it to to rebuild and re-gear my Dana 30 and Chrysler 8.25 in my Jeep XJ while installing ARB air lockers. It has the jigs necessary for all sorts of axles. No "setup bearings" are required when using it. I think modifying bearings throws your measurements off a bit anyway.

I used this to set the pinion depth according to what the ring and pinion company scribed onto the pinion. The wear pattern was perfect.

Bought the kit for a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon that has Dana 44 axles but the pucks were just a tad too small. Turns out you have to buy adapter pucks for an additional $120 to able able to do sterling axles and Jeep jk dana 44 axles.
