  • 💰 The Teachers Choice Coin Counter and Sorter digitally counts and sorts pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters into 4 tubes which can be removed and used to fill the included coin wrappers. Size: 9.5 x 6.1 x 6 Inches. Accepts 2 AAA batteries.
  • 💰 Operation Instructions: To fill tubes, please insert the wrapper around the first few coins then quickly invert so that the coins do not go in sideways. The tubes do also not always fill to the exact amount because of the decreasing thickness of older coins. If your machine jams please remove cap to fix. Occasionally coins may go into the tubes sides ways, simply shake the device to straighten them out.
  • 💰 Great for All Ages! Our coin counting money jar is perfect for kids! It teaches them the value of each coin, basic math principals, and responsible saving. Also great for adults; use in your house to store loose change and keep track of your accrued savings.
  • 💰 Coin Counting and Storage: Digital LCD Display automatically keeps track of savings; Easy Twist-Off Lid for coin retrieval, 4 removable coin tubes tubes to fill your 20 included wrappers! Made of strong ABS plastic which is better than glass or ceramic piggy banks which are heavy and tend to break.

Definitely one of the worst purchases yet!Unfortunately this did nothing to help make counting easier. Coins dropped out of the coin counter. Super disappointed. I tried to return thinking something was broken or not functioning properly and this was not able to be refunded. 😞😞

I bought this coin sorter and it is functional, but has some issues. The first is that you need to put in a coin and "wait" for the digital sensor to show the total before putting in the next coin. If you do this to fast, the counting will be inaccurate. This could be good for kids, teaching them patience and waiting to see the total amount in the top BEFORE they put the next coin in the slot. It is fun to watch, but twice as much as the cheaper "non-electric" models that are more functional and less fun to watch. The most pressing issues is that the tubes don't show when the tube is at the right amount to fill up the paper tubes, and I had to count them by hand, and then make a mark with a black sharpie to show where to fill the tubes up to. Why don't they put a mark on the tubes to tell people where to stop filling them up to? If this had better plastic coin tubes that have a mark on them for where to stop, that is what I need. Please send me tubes with a mark or sticker to show me and others who use this when the tube is at the right place to fill the paper coin holders. I would normally return this because it is hard to tell where to stop on the tubes... but if you can send correct tubes with the proper information on them, we will not have to return it. I might keep it anyway, because it got the job done, and it's easier to keep coins organized for someone who has change in their pockets on a daily basis (rather than throwing them all in a jar).

I immediately filled this thing up with loose change. It works fine most of the time but the coins occasionally get stuck or skip.

Is simple but would prefer to put in a bunch of coinsfor sorting rather than just one at a time.

It works and does count, but you have to insert each coin individually with some effort. It seems to use a lever to determine the diameter of the coin inserted to increase the "count" but you have to push each coin through individually. If you have a child, then this is a good idea. If you are an adult and want a simple way to separate a handful of coins, not a good idea. I'm going to keep it because I'm a gadget kinda guy and will see what it takes to remove that mechanical block and ignore the display of the coin amount. I was looking for something to separate coins, which this does, but the effort is too great.

I wrote the below review and want to provide an update. I purchased the coin counters in October for Christmas gifts which put me past the time Amazon allows for returns. Amazon did provide guidance and a number to contact the manufacturer, which I did. I was pleasantly surprised that the manufacturer was very nice and understanding...they actually sent me two replacement counters that work.Previous review: VERY cheap product, definitely not worth the money!! I bought five for my grandsons...two of the counters didn't work out of the box, not hopeful the others will continue working. All of the battery covers broke the first time when adding the batteries, two so bad they had to be taped close.
