This product worked great and exactly as advertised. It’s a bit time consuming to set up, but that is in the nature of the system; the instructions are clear and they even give video examples through a QR code you can scan.I bought this one because it looked like the pulley wheels allow it to go all the way up to the ceiling, which they do, and they had great reviews. They give you a ton of rope so I think it should be able to handle almost any situation. Unfortunately, I need to return the item because I just don’t have quite enough room to clear my garage door with my ladder lifted.I would definitely recommend this product and will look to this company in the future for similar needs.

Great product and easy to follow instructions on the installation. I have a 14 foot kayak weighing 100 pounds and had no problem hoisting it up myself.

Straight forward installation, although I reversed the order of threading the rope. Start each end at the final tie point, and do test with a light object prior to your SUP or kayak. Thicker rope would make it much easier to hoist the payload as it is a struggle with the thin cord, but it does work due to the effective breaking system. As another reviewer suggested, use a few of your tie down straps as a back up once you get the package hoisted to #1 add a piece of mind that the load will not fall due to the backup, and it also serves to take pressure of the lifting / lowering system.

I had 22" of space between my garage door and the ceiling. I wasn't sure if I could get my 12' Eddyline Skylark kayak into the space. It fit with about 4" to spare! Bonus - I can now lower it directly onto my car. Brackets need to be mounted to a joist in your ceiling. There are two sets of holes in the brackets to fit joists that run front to back, or left to right. This kayak is 41 lbs and it is easy to lift with this kit. You can pull the ropes together to lift it, or pull one at a time to raise the front or back as needed.

I bought this to store my kayak near the ceiling in my garage. Relatively easy to install - I had to mount 2x4 cross boards to center the pulleys between two joists. But, works really well. Now the kayak is completely out of the way until I take it back to the water next spring.

Yes this can lift a kayak. Those that say it cannot without another person either installed it wrong or are not strong enough to lift it. It mitigated some of the weight but you will still need mild strength to pull it up. You could likely install a small winch if needed.

Great design; simple, efficient, using in the house to hold a 23 lb outrigger canoe. The metal parts are sturdy; the screw length was fine to go through drywall and into studs... do not miss your studs..Some folks in other brand/products mentioned rope size; this one is plenty at 1/4" thickness I believe. It seemed like there was not ion extra line; do not cut any off until you raise and lower the equipment a few times. I thought I had lots of extra, but lucky for me I waited and the overall length is fine.Yes, I paid a bit more for American made, but the value and workmanship was well worth the extra $$... keep the money in our own country.. it feeds your neighbors!!

Like most other reviewers here have said already, this is a awesome product that costs a bit more but is well worth it. Very well made, easy to install and works great. The main difference from the Teal Triangle compared to other lifts is the third pulley, which also acts a brake to hold the weight of whatever your lifting. The wall cleat does not hold the weight of the kayak, it's more of a backup if something ever went wrong with the third pulley brake.

Everything about this product was a good experience. The packaging was compact and well organized with everything appropriately protected. Even the rope was carefully coiled. The instructions were detailed and very instructive and easy to follow. The quality of the product seems very good for the price point and all pieces were in perfect condition when they arrived. After installation, I was able to hoist my 41lb kayak by myself with ease and the braking mechanism works perfectly. I was considering a two pulley system but am glad I spent the little bit extra to get this 3 pulley setup. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it for others.

The plate and rollers appeared to be very good. I would like the rope to be stronger. So I put a second set of ratchet straps attached to the ceiling. Now if the rope did break all would be safe

I have 14’ ceilings, and this lift works perfectly for lifting the kayaks to the ceiling, they give you plenty of rope to do the job, I only wished they were available in a 2 pack, I had to purchase 2 separately, I purchased them mainly because of the third pulley that keeps the rope close to the wall, they are a bit expensive but they are well made and worth the extra money.
