The last one I bought (in 2022) worked fine for two years or so. But now, it works intermittently. With impending houseguests, I reluctantly bought another replacement, figuring next time out I spring for a modern bathroom fixtures whose bulbs are about a fifth the price of this one.Worth it? Well, when you have a 20+ year-old fixture, you figure you have to eventually pay the piper.

It is what we needed as a replacement bulb for a ceiling fan.Rating the longevity is a guess since I just put it in the fixture. It works, we are happy with it.

Bought this bulb as replacement for my guest bathroom . After I installed it I noticed that it takes a minute or more to warm up and get bright . So when you enter bathroom you are in the dark for a while which for a bathroom is not functional .It was hard to find the right size so now I have to find one that lights up immediately like the one that I replacedSo in short if you don’t mind the warm up period to get bright it’s fine .

I looked in the local stores for this and all they had were substitute product models that they said were compatible but weren’t...so I went on amazon and got the exact make and model and it fit perfectly.

Well, I see now why Panasonic charges 4 X more for their replacement, as this CFL is terrible. This product is barely more than a night light until it warms up for 2 or 3 minutes. Even after that, the lighting output is terrible. Looking for a better option as I write this review

After 13 years, the lightbulb burnt out in our Panasonic bathroom ceiling fan-light. Much to my surprise and disappointment, I quickly discovered that the lightbulb I needed had been discontinued years ago. I found this listing on Amazon the actually referenced the Panasonic bulb code in the product description. It may seem like a lot of money for a lightbulb but it’s a fair price compared to other sellers. Besides, it’s a small price to pay if this bulb lasts as long as the last one did. Most importantly, it was a perfect match and our bathroom is fully lit again! 😊
