Super-easy to install. Works perfectly, with a fun array of sounds (play "name that tune!"). Good volume control, from quiet to soft to loud and with two receivers so we can now hear the doorbell in the back bedroom. Best of all, it comes in grey which perfectly matches our trim!

Love it. Plug the receiver into a wall outlet in the house and peel the sticky backing off the doorbell and stick outside by the door. Works beautifully and has volume control and too many sound choices! This doorbell went thru a hurricane and is still sticking!!

How it works:- Plug in the Receiver/Base, pull the battery-protector strip from the Remote, Press the button & hear the chimes.- You choose either adhesive strips or screws to attach the Remote near your door. Both are included.- The Receiver has 3 buttons on the side: -- Setup = cycle through 3 announcement modes: (1) Chime, (2) Silent with LED flash, or (3) Chime with LED flashAn Initial press plays current tone. if press again with 1 second, will cycle into the next tone it becomes the default. -- Chimes = cycle through to choose from the available chimes & melodies -- Volume = cycle through to choose from 4 volumes levels, quite soft to very loudPros:- Both units seem sturdy & well made, with the transmitter supposedly weatherproof to IP33.- A healthy assortment of 34 chimes & melodies are available.- The Receiver has a loudness range of 25 db to 85 db. Quite soft to VERY loud.- the range is advertised to 1000 ft in open, I tested to about 150 ft with 5 walls between them and had no problems.- The Receiver can be paired with multiple transmitters & with different tones for front door, back door, etc.- Came with both units looking fresh & undamaged, User Manual, 18 month Warranty card (extendable to 2 years with registration), battery already in the Remote.- An UNEXPECTED & POTENTIALLY VALUABLE USE FOR THIS KIT…It’s advertised only as a doorbell. However, it seems to me this system could EASILY BE USED for other things! For example, any situation where person “A†needs to notify person “B†they need assistance. One could place the Remote on a countertop in a business or warehouse environment (rather than a bell which has limited distance to be heard). Or, it could be used at home for someone with limited mobility or bedridden who needs to call for a family member or other assistance (who may be downstairs where “calling†may not be heard). It couldn’t take the place of a “Medical Alert†device, and can’t call for Emergency Services; but it would work quite well for general assistance in getting some needed attention.Cons:- Merely that the advertisement states 52 chimes/melodies, and my unit has only 34. (But I think that’s sufficient.)Overall Evaluation:- Seems really well made, has good range & flexible settings that should satisfy nearly anyone.

Installation was pretty straight forward. I wanted to mount this into a wooden panel next to my door so I didn't use the double sided adhesive tape that it came with. There was just a minor problem. Even though it came with the mounting screws and plastic anchors, the back panel did not have pre-drilled holes. There's a small slot on the bottom where you can use a flat head screwdriver or some plastic tool to push in a little to pop open the back. I drilled two holes in the back and it was ready to be mounted. Snap it back from top to bottom.The doorbell transmitter has a big button to push and a single CR2032 battery installed already. Just need to pull the plastic tab off before use.The receiver will need to be plugged into a wall outlet. It's pretty small and shouldn't take up more than one outlet. It has various chimes to select from and also allows you to turn on/off the blue light. The volume is adjustable and loud enough to hear in the house.This shouldn't be a problem for most people, but for those without a drill and want to mount this, it can be a problem. I suggest having some pre-drill holes or a cutout made to have it be punched out easily. This gives the user an option to mount using screws since that's already provided in the package.

great doorbell. we live in a rural area. our house is a good 50 yards from the front gate with a concrete building between. i am half deaf and can't hear ppl honking that far away. we put the doorbell out on the gate post. works great at this distance even with a concrete building in the way. just had a major ice storm and it stopped working. i was worried that it had gotten too cold for it, but it was good as new with a new battery. so... the battery it comes with does not last 4.5 years. more like 4.5 months. but that is an easy fixit also works great as a the-power-is-back-on alarm. it will chime when you plug it in/power comes on. during said recent ice storm, we lost power for 4 days. we had a generator running here in the house. i used the doorbell as an alarm so i would know when they got our power back on. long story short, we have one outlet from the concrete building connected to this house. other than that, they are on separate meters. i put a power strip on that outlet with a lamp and the doorbell. as soon as power came back on, lamp lit up and doorbell went off

Ich hatte die Klingel schon mal gekauft und wollte eine Zweite. Leider habe ich mich hier vergriffen, denn diese hat UK-Stecker. Eine Rücksendung hätte mich wegen des Zolls 29€ gekostet. 4 Sterne, weil sie leider nicht erweiterbar ist auf mehr Sender/Empfänger.

Diese Bestellung war ein totaler Reinfall. Der Artikel ist in deutscher Sprache beschrieben und wurde von mir vor drei Jahren schon einmal bestellt. Nun kam der Artikel mit falschen (GB) Stecker. Eine Retoure machte in diesem Falle dann auch keinen Sinn, da der Artikel nach GB geschickt werden muss.
