Simply plug the brake control end of the wiring harness into the back of the brake control and the vehicle end into the automobile's port. Brake controls that utilize the 2-plug style of wiring harness will be identified with the Plug & Play logo.

Why does every dang Amazon review ask me to rate the product in terms of "stretch"?!?! Wires don't stretch - anyone who tells you they do is messing with you.Regardless, this is a high quality product. In my experience with this and four other Tekonsha products, they all are. I have their Prodigy P3 brake controller and it is flawlessly excellent. This adapter enabled me to quickly and easily install it in my 2008 Dodge Ram after selling the Ford in which it was originally installed. It also works for several other sister brands of Tekonsha (Reese, to name but one).It's way simpler than wiring it up the old fashioned way, and I couldn't recommend it more emphatically.
