Easy install, comes with the needed brackets, I wouldnt recommend buying the additional bracket kit unless you just need a spare or want to move the controller between vehicles. The controller has a memory function for multiple trailers which is awesome and prevents the need to constantly re adjust when hooking up a new trailer

I've been dropping my controller into a console space for many years now. Well, I sold that vehicle and I have no idea where my mount went, so I ordered up this one and it fit perfectly. Glad to keep the controller out of the way and have it mounted.

I hate trailer sales and service groups. The place we bought our trailer from installed a piece of junk brake controller and charged us $90 for it. This is a significant upgrade and it was plug and play easy swapping it out and configuring the controller which was very easy. Love this one so much I bought one for my son-in-law.

When I bought my brake controller, I accidently lost the bracket to install it in the vehicle. I found this replacement and ordered it. This kit includes everything you need to mount the bracket inside your vehicle and would make an excellent second vehicle mount (unless like me you lost your original that comes with the controller). Overall, it does its function and securely holds the brake controller in the vehicle and allows for swivel.

Would have preferred the larger metal clip than the plastic one but wasn't offered. Using plastic now. Hope it stands up.
