As a homeowner who likes to work with his hands, I use my drills almost every day, and I find a bit extension to be indispensable, not only to add length to the bit, but for quick bit changes. The TEKPREM 5-pack is an excellent value for the price. With five in the package, I inserted my most commonly used bits in several of them, making quick changes a breeze. I recommend highly.

I finally started using them on the job last week, they have done exactly what I needed them to do. But, the magnet Inside the one that I used decided to break and now 1/3 of it is missing. I'm not sure if the magnets on all of them are going to break this easy or if this one was defective, but it doesn't show promise that the first job I use it on causes lasting damage.Other than that, the magnet is better than average. It isn't super strong. There are jobs that require me to install screws while on a two story ladder with only one hand, so having a really strong magnet can mean the difference between a 5 min install or a 30 min and 15 dropped screw install in that instance. Better than what I had, but not where I would like it to be.

Happy. I lose these all the time and bought them after getting tired of looking for one of the 3 I already owned. Now I have 8 an cannot find one. HAHA

Ordered the 5 piece set. 2 of the holders had zero magnetic hold. if I pointed my drill down, the bit would fall to the floor. The other 3 had VERY weak magnetism. I have thrown all of them away. Totally useless.

The magnetic strength on these is as close to ideal as I can imagine. They hold the bit in without having to be a strongman to get the bit back out. I ordered a 5 pck expecting that I might lose some of the extension bit holders while woring on a backyard project. I was overly worried. I didn't lose a single one, and also did not lose any of the bits they were holding. A win-win for me. Thank you.

These magnetic hex bit holders are awesome for the price. Would buy again.

Work great at first but lose their magnetism and the bits fall out And even the magnets inside fall out too after normal use.
