I really like this adapter. I used it for my 3/8 inch breaker bar to turn it into a 1/2 inch and it worked like a charm when I was doing an engine mount replacement. Tekton makes high quality components and I'm glad I picked this one up. The adapter is smooth and well made you can tell it's high quality. It is a bit pricey at $8, but even for someone as cheap as I am I would buy it again. 3/8 inch to 1/2 inch adapters were hard for me to find where I live, so that's why I bit the bullet and paid $8 for the adapter.After buying this adapter I am a Tekton fan. They are high quality and I bought another product from them. The build quality on Tekton tools is high and the prices are pretty reasonable compared to Snap-On or MAC Tools.If you need a 3/8 inch adapter I would highly recommend this one. It is very high quality and I'm glad I bought it.

I needed an adapter that could go from 3/8 male to 1/4 female. That way I can use 3/8 sockets, etc. with a 1/4 drive ratchet.

I like TEKTON tools. I believe I get good value and I have a TEKTON flex head 1/2" ratchet as well. Same opinion there.

Fantastic little adaptor. Really nothing to say about it. Both the 1/4 and 3/8" sides fit well into their respective square drives and square sockets. Not a lot of play to indicate that this adaptor was poorly made or of poor quality. I never really had a chance to really crank on this as I use this with a 1/4 inch torque wrench so there really is not an opportunity to put a lot of torque on this adaptor. But what little work i have given it, it has taken to it well. Overall great little well built chrome adaptor. Serves my purposes just fine and is built well enough to likely serve your purposes as well.

A must have to allow you to use your 1/2" drive ratchets with your 3/4" sockets. I have had good luck with TEKTON hand tools. Well made , nice finish.
