I bought my first Tekton products - 12mm/14mm & 13mm/15mm ratcheting box end wrenches - in December 2021, and I was so impressed I've been adding other pieces to my toolbox ever since. The small scale clicks of the ratchet feel very high end, the shape and finish of it is modern and satisfying, and I very much appreciate the length for torque delivery and the pivoting heads for reaching stubborn spots. I now own the 8/10, 12/14, 13/15 & 17/19 in these, as well as metric sets of their 3/8" drive hex and Torx bits, which are fantastic in their finish and form as well as the twist-pull mounting on an easy-to-use organizing wand. Brilliant products! I'm happy to have discovered this brand after decades of building my Craftsman tool collection.

This is one of those perfect items that doesn't come around often, one that does everything you need it to, does it well, and lives up to the marketing. It's pretty rare to find in tools, honestly. I wanted an extra-long metric 12/14 combo wrench with a pivoting, ratcheting, six-sided, bolt-protecting head. I have lots of wrenches, and they're all abusive. Because wrenches are easy to manufacture to poor specs, most of them are. This one hits it on all cylinders: fair price, great quality, careful design, and great leverage. I have cheap, short wrenches whose 12-point design gleefully rounds off bolt heads, and I'm just done, had it with that.I'm happy to have found this Tekton with its bolt head-protecting design, and expect that with some care relating to its ratchet and sane torque limits, I expect it to be my go-to wrench for a couple decades or more, well after the cheap ones go to the giveaway box.

I needed a longer wrench for a difficult to reach bolt; so as I do, I checked what Tekton may have to fit my needs. This long, boxed-end ratchet with articulated heads was perfect! Sturdy yet light, strong though thin - the dialectics work! Some may say overkill, however I've put it to good use in other areas where a socket wrench seemed too bulky & heavy in the hand.I am a huge fan of Tekton tools (a family owned company) and their remarkable customer service, both of which are based in Michigan. Here's a statement from company CEO, John Amash, on the availability of USA made Tekton tools:"The percentage of USA-made products in Tekton's lineup is now over 20 percent, including angle wrenches, crowfoot wrenches, dead blow hammers, groove joint pliers, hard-handle screwdrivers, high-torque screwdrivers and nut drivers, pick and hook sets, and several tool storage products."Regardless where it was made, if Tekton is stamped or printed on the side you know you have a tool the is GUARANTEED for life. With an exchange system that usually asks a couple questions & for a couple pictures of the damage/defect; a replacement is typically in the mail that day & at no cost to you.It should be well noted that I have no ties or agreements with Tekton; I just really love their quality tools & service! You too will agree once you give them a feel. Remember....Price is only an issue in the absence of value.

This thing is a lifesaver. It gets bolts that none of my other tools can. It's really easy to use (no slipping/play) and EXTREMELY durable (you can use a cheater bar with it to break damn near anything free). This thing can go on bolts that short sockets wouldn't clear in tight spaces, and then can swivel and ratchet! What more could you ask for? Worth every penny. Replaces a handful of other tools

It helped and did its job. I bought this tool to help me hold the bolt to the rear shocks of my 2015 Ford Explorer. Since the top and bolt are located within the vehicle where you have to remove on each side a cover within the trim to access them. That said, you can imagine there is not a whole lot of room to move around. I’m a 6’5†dude with huge hands so space was a concern when attempting to remove bolt and hold the shocks core to losses it. Plus, break the lock right/thread sealer as well. This tool helped in bother holding the bolt while I used another socket wrench that fit the struts core to spin it off. What helped too was to just spin both in opposite directions to losses the bolt to core of the strut. Luckily this wrench is long, has ability to adjust the angle of the head, and was sturdy enough to not break and help losses the bolt from the strut. I did broke a socket wrench earlier when attempting this task at an earlier date which prompted me to order this tool and give it a go.

Worked perfectly for removing the top bolt on a 2016 Rav4 rear shock replacement job. Space too small for a regular flex head ratchet. Tool paid for itself in one job. Only downside is there is no direction switch so you have to flip the wrench around depending on which direction you want to tighten/loosen.

For removing an oil drain bolt, its great. But anything more than that, it flexes quite a bit under load, its pretty light duty.

Bought this as I was looking for an extended reach 19mm to use as a belt tensioner release on 2007 Civic. Works great for that application, wrench is long enough to reach the tensioner and still give enough leverage to release belt. I have not needed to use it for anything else so not sure about the durability under “extreme†use. I have broken many wrenches over the years by applying cheater bars, hammering, etc when trying to loosen stubborn bolts so time will tell. $30 for a wrench is moderately expensive but having this one around at both 17 & 19 mm should prove useful as those are some common sizes on vehicles these days. I replace brakes consistently so I can foresee some application there also.

The 12mm/14mm wrench sat in a walnut bowl on our coffee table for a couple of days because I enjoy looking at it. It is an elegant tool. Today I tried it on my garage door, which had a number of 12mm screws loosening up. It worked very well on the light task, though I had purchased it for the much heavier job of removing an alternator from a cramped space in a Toyota 5.7 V8 engine. The video mechanics who did the job successfully all mentioned that they needed a tool like this to deal with the tight quarters of the operation.I like the additional mechanical advantage of the long handle, and its ease of use in tight quarters.Anyway, on an early review the wrench is very pleasing to the eye and the touch. It does turn 12mm studs well. If there is more to say about it, I'll update the review, but for now the expensive wrench seems a good buy.

I don't like the length it's not long enough...needed another ratchet for more leverage.

I was in the process of doing a serpentine belt replacement on my 2010 Mazda 3 2.5, and this tool was a life saver. The space between the tensioner and the car body is restricted and all I had was a flared nut spanner. It was short and didn’t provide enough leverage, besides feeling that would strip the head of the bolt. After some searching, I came across this wrench. I have to say that it wasn’t cheap but… worth every penny! As soon as I put it on the bolt, I was able to turn the tensioner due to its length without an extension, providing enough leverage without an extension. Since it ratcheted, I was concerned about the mechanism, but it withstood the pressure and also I was able to move the handle to a more suitable position. It arrived promptly packed in a plastic bag inside a cardboard box. The finish of the wrench is a very nice chrome without blemishes. The ratcheting mechanism worked flawlessly.
