Usual Tekton; good quality at a reasonable price point. Feel good in hand. Decent rounding of edges. Jaws are symmetrical and close evenly; ie no gap on either end of gripping surface. Nice, well defined cross hatching. Slightly stiff hinge initially, but loosened up just right with use. Handles are just flexible enough; they'll flex under a tight grip but need a total death grip to touch.

We use these for Bass Fishing -- sometimes a Soft Plastic lure gets swallowed, and I hate to kill the bass if I can avoid it. But, for me, these must be used along with the 10" Knipex Dykes from Germany. Yes, the Knipex are expen$ive, but they WILL cut a Hardened worm hook. I use the 45 degree Needle Nose to grasp the Barbed Tip of the hook, then I cut the shank with the Knipex. The hook comes out with minimal injury to the bass. I have read a lot of research on leaving hooks in a bass's gullet -- it DOES make us feel better, but in reality those hooks do NOT rust out, and the fish usually dies later. You have to dig deep to find this research.

I absolutely love these 45-degree long reach pliers.Wish I'd bought a pair of them many years ago.Perfect for getting into tight spots, and are indispensable for dealing with the spring type hose clamps that many cars now have.They arrived quickly and in perfect condition, and I'm impressed with their quality.Will be purchasing the straight and 90-degree versions soon as well.
