Our shower surround is all glass 8 feet high. The glass needs to be wiped down after each shower or mineral spots build up. This has presented different challenges for my wife and me. She's short and has trouble reaching the top glass area with a regular shower squeegee. I'm tall and have trouble reaching the base. We had a steep stool that enabled my wife to wipe the top glass but often got in my way. Also, the average squeegee blade doesn't work very well and left streaks and film. We've been unhappy about this for close to 35 years.This gadget performs splendidly. The handle and sliding extension rod are impressively sturdy (this is going to last a long time) but not too heavy. And the wiper blade works perfectly. Looks pretty elegant, too. The step stool is gone and the glass is spotless.Price was somewhat higher than some of the alternatives but turns out to be good value.The only niggle is delivery time. It ships from China and didn't arrive for several weeks. It turned out to be worth the wait.
