I’m mentoring a kid on how to use a desktop computer and various programs. I didn’t like having to repeatedly get up and reach over her to point out a specific icon on the computer screen. Now, I just use the pointer. It’s quicker and more accurate than reaching in front of her and using my big hand to point at a small icon in a group of lots of icons, which the angle of my hand often covered up and made it difficult for her to see which icon I was pointing to. The pointer makes working with her so much easier from my chair instead of having to get up, reach around her, and say this one, or point to a specific icon/location in whatever program I’ve had her open. The handle fits well in the hand, the telescoping shaft is light and strong, and it’s well made; I think it will last a long time. For the price and ease to use, I do recommend it as a very useful teaching tool...

I got this because although I have laser pointers, almost always on modern LCD's/TV screens the light gets diffused and the laser "dot" disappears. And since today tons of presentations are done on lit screens (TV or monitor), the old-fashioned way seems to be the choice. This pointer has a white tip which I like to have since often slide backgrounds are dark (if they're white, it's easier to see the pointer in front of a white background). Anyway it works fine - good textured handle/bass, smooth telescoping and no kinks or jerks pulling out/pushing in. Good product.

Its a decent pointer. The felt tip tends to fall out from time to time.

This is a replacement for one I had for years, which I bent accidentally. I find this useful daily. Mostly I use it to reach across awkward places to straighten a curtain, slide something I dropped toward me. I find it amusing that I'm not using it in teaching like I used to do. This particular pointer is sturdy and easy to use.

Nothing to dislike, it's designed to do what it supposed to do, to point things out at a slide show presentation on the wall or point to areas of interest on a wall poster & etc.. it telescopes in to carry it like a pen. Very handy

El producto es bueno, al dar clase no se dobla, no se afloja entre "niveles", un poco de detalle es la punta la cual se puede aflojar ( ten cuidarlo para que no se te pierda), te recomiendo asegurarla con una hojita a presion, o gota de pegamento, en mi caso este detalle no quita valor al producto. si lo recomiendo.

I mean its ok for my limited need for it, but for someone who needs to use it, several times a day, for multiple days, idk, it might not hold up. Not great for, say, a teacher

Works as advertised on my TV. I bought 2 in case 1 breaks. But I think they are strong enough.

Wasn't able to do what I bought it for (stylus for touch screen) but I can't mark it down for that cause that's not what it's advertised as.However I just put some tin foil around the tip and it works perfectly as a touch screen stylus.So now it does what I wanted it to do and am very happy with the purchase.The handle is thick and easy to grip.It's really long fully extended, but very sturdy so it doesn't feel like it's going to bend or break even when fully extended.
