This is a great idea and has proven very useful. I am using them in my travel trailer for documents that are good to have on hand (product manuals, registration, warranties, etc.). It is great that they are different colors to know which is which and that they are expandable.

I've never used these before but found I like them. They feel like a combination of a clipboard and a binder with 3 exposed rings on top. Papers store flatter, more like medical records binder's contents. Quality and cost are excellent. I bought the multicolored package. I wish they'd had an option for all one color.

I like the idea of being able to add paper, up to 200 pages, and until all the pages are in you will save on shelf space. The spine fans out as needed. Four stars because there is no button to press to open the rings. You have to use your fingers. Good quality materials and looks good too. Next time I will order the one with the pocket on the front.

These are absolutely perfect for kids. All the teachers had a fit over them when my daughter was using hers. They don't take up unnecessary space in their booking.

I really do like this new design for an old binder. The telescoping spine is a neat modification; just don't think these are going to lay any flatter, because of course the rings take up just as much space. This particular binder has a plastic pocket on front; it's wrapped around so that it will hold papers inside the cover. There are no open / close ring tabs with this design (they wouldn't fit in the collapsed folder), but I don't see that as a problem so far. One thing to watch out for; quality control. I had to return and replace this order, because the plastic pocket on one binder was damaged. In fact, I had the same problem with another order of these binders (blue) (two were defective); I returned them and the replacements were fine. I would take off a star, except that they were so prompt about replacements, and the quality of the second shipment was good.

Well made & nice binders for often used information you expect to lay on top of a desk or other surface. However, if you want to store them in a bookshelf, you cannot label the binding to identify their contents.
