I know this seems strange to have an old-fashioned phone but when my cell phone needs to be charged my house phone is always ready.

Because our power goes out so frequently and for so long, I'm sticking with one landline phone in addition to cell. My more high tech neighbors end up using it. This one was it. Plugs into the wall, has a regular keypad those of us at a certain age love and a flashing light when it rings. I don't need the light and the cat freaks out, but it's a great feature for the hearing impaired.

Set on high, & can honestly barely hear, and red light D.O.A.I viewed others feedback & rolled the dice, needless to say SNAKE-EYES !!!Just ridicious folks, box shipper in was very thin, sure its journey to me getting throw from usps truck to another is why the red light doesn't work. A thicker box and better taped...well who knows but logicalSending back for refund....the search continues......UGH !!!!

Unfortunately this phone was a complete let down, I bought it for my 96 year old mom because it stated that it had a loud ring and volume….it did not. The red light bulb on the phone did not work at all. Returning for a full refund.

I purchased this for my elderly mother and simply couldn’t get this junk to work! I had the phone company come out and no success! Very disappointed!

This telephone is the perfect blend between modern and traditional design. It is simple and basic, but entirely convenient to use. Obviously if you want facilities such as an answer phone or a speed dial, this phone is not your best choice as these facilities are not available with this model. However if you're looking for a traditional phone, with classic 1960s or 70s styling, but with modern features such as a keypad, ring volume control and handset volume control, among other things, this would make an excellent choice, and I'm happy to recommend it.
