I bought this product for 1 reason, to help with dry packing fence posts and it works perfect for that application. In northeast Ohio we are left with very few options in the winter when installing vinyl or wood fence, we can drive posts, dry pack or carry our own water to jobs for mixing concrete because 95% of homeowners have their outside spigot shut off and they don't want to turn them on for us because the fear of freezing pipes... this product just cut our time in half while dry packing posts. Got it yesterday and put it to work today and the whole crew loves it. Time is money and this already paid for itself by 10 am on the first day. Highly recommend it.

I'm using this with a 12 volt Milwaukee drill at highest speed, works great pouring all sorts of small projects; garage floors, retaining walls, etc. It has 4 months use, maybe 20 or 30 hours of run time, and the mechanism feels looser, but still works great. It's super convenient and the price makes it viable for intermittent projects. I'll buy another if it quits.

I tried to use this when pouring a foundation for a basketball system. I really wanted to like this item, but it was extremely difficult to use. It took very long to get the vibration to start, if at all. I had to hit this thing on the ground over and over to try to get the vibration to start. Then if you are able to get it to start vibrating, by then, your arms get really tired. If you loose grip on the drill trigger, you have to start the pounding process all over. Even when I was able to get it it to start vibrating, the actual vibration was not very strong. In the end, I could not use this product and I just ended up using a long shovel to try to get any air pockets out. The idea is nice, I think they need to engineer it a little better.

I've used a hammer drill against the concrete form before, which worked OK for smaller jobs, but this was great for deeper deck footing to get down below the frost line. Really nice to see such consistent concrete when the cardboard footing tube started to come off.

Bought the unit for doing footings didn’t use it for 45 days went to use it didn’t work. Had to bang it to make it vibrate. It’s a piece of garbage now I’m stuck with it wouldn’t waste. My money. Would spend more money next time and get a quality unit.

There were no pockets or airspaces when removing the concrete forms. The tool worked great. It is easy to use and is highly portable. I only wished I had purchased sooner!
