Wireless Range: 100 meters line of sight under ideal conditions with no obstructions. Because of the way radio signals work, obstructions or interference can reduce the effective range substantially. Every situation is different, but by way of example, one of our test cases is a wood-framed 2,600 square foot, 2-story home. Sensors can be read virtually anywhere in, or immediately outside, the home.
Wet Conditions: The HT.w features O-ring seals and a special sensor membrane, making it water resistant. While it is not submersible, it is perfect for wet conditions outdoors, in greenhouses, etc.

I was eager to test this to make sure it could measure the inside temperature of my 12V Dometic refrigerator for an upcoming vacation. The first unit I got looked nice, and I had already loaded the app on my phone, and all was very promising. But the battery wouldn't fit perfectly and I couldn't get the app to connect. I sent a very detailed description of the problems on a Sunday afternoon, I got a response within a few hours, and a new one was immediately shipped, and arrived the next day. The battery in the replacement fit perfectly and the app connected immediately. I have had no problems over the last several weeks on the road. (I don't have an Android phone, so I can't speak to its operation.)The temperature recorded has been consistently very accurate, and no calibration has been needed; I haven't tested the humidity for accuracy, but it is consistent with the temperature and the environment it is in. However, my testing has not been rigorous enough to suggest this would be sufficient for, say, precision laboratory use. I have no problem connecting the iPhone with the sensor buried in the refrigerator and the door closed. The iPhone app allows me to set high and low ranges, and I get notifications when the temperature passes those levels. The app produces graphs of the trends, which are exactly what I wanted. In this case, I found it interesting, but not surprising, how the Dometic compressor switches on and off, allowing the mean temperature to rise and fall within the tolerances I need.My experience has been that this is a high quality device, with excellent (iOS) software, from a company that clearly stands behind their product.

The sensor was easy to set up and link to the app. I put it in a crawl space to monitor the temp during the winter and it's been working great! So far, I've just been using Bluetooth to connect to it, and the range is pretty good: no trouble going thru the floor and a wall or two to connect.

I don't do many reviews. I really only review really bad stuff or really great stuff. This is one great ones.Preface: I only really use the temperature monitoring features. 6 sensors and 2 gateways.Tl:drPros:Setup is stupid simple.Accurate (Plus the ability to calibrate the temperature up or down.)With a Gateway you get Push notifications, email alerts, and app alerts when a temperature or other readings are outside your custom range. Can also check temperatures anywhere you have internet. (with gateway)Also has a web based interface if you don't want to use the app. (with gateway)App shows a wide array of metrics and data and isn't sluggish in doing so.Realtime data trends.Save and view historical data/metricsSmart home/Assistant integration (with gateway)Cons:Price can be a factor here but look at it as an investment in your food preservation!Sensor could be a bit bigger to allow for stronger bluetooth signal.Backstory: Two upright freezers blew from a power overvoltage at night and we didn't notice. Ended up losing thousands of dollars of food. Since then I looked for a well built and, most importantly, ACCURATE and FUNCTIONAL way to monitor multiple freezers and refrigerators with push notifications.After going through a bunch of other sensors I got one of these and tried it for a few months. I was totally blown away. These sensors are very accurate and very responsive to temperature change. The app shows you all the data you could want with near realtime (to the minute) readings, trends, averages, etc all in an easy to read and intuitive interface.The push notifications are where these things turn to gold for me. When paired with a G1 Gateway from SensorPush you can access the data wherever you have internet! But the REAL plus is that you get push notifications, app alerts, and email alerts when a sensor reaches a custom temperature threshold. If I had that before my freezers blew I could have woken up and seen the notifications and then scrambled to save my food.I can't say how pleased I am with these sensors. I can honestly say that I feel better knowing that, should another catastrophe happen to my freezers, these sensors will alert me and I can have time to save my frozen things before they thaw. I will update my review as time goes on. Some of the freezers I have get really cold (as seen in the pictures) so I shall see how resilient they are!

Thriving in the gravel under our concrete slab for over 6 months and going strong, where other hygrometers only lasted a week in the extremely damp environment with 95% to 100% humidity. I can't say enough about the quality, durability, and ease of use of this sensor. It automatically creates 3 very useful graphs, providing a valuable record of temperature, humidity, and dew point over time. This is an amazing product. I highly recommend it!

I first purchased this product in July 2021 to put in a small fridge used solely for temperature sensitive medications. I was so happy with the product that I subsequently purchased 4 more sensors (3 for my kitchen fridge and 1 for an upright freezer) and a SensorPush wi-fi gateway so I could monitor status when we are travelling.These devices have already paid for themselves when my 3 year old refrigerator was acting up. I had no idea there was a problem with the fridge until I got a warning from Sensor Push that the temp had risen above above the alarm threshold I had configured in the App. I was able to monitor the temps in the fridge, confirm I did have a problem, and move the contents to another fridge before any food was lost or spoiled and this likely saved me several hundred dollars in lost food.Fast forward to May 2023, one of the sensors stopped working. After replacing the battery and trying to reset the sensor I reached out to the Sensor Push service for help. They quickly determined that the sensor had failed and the next day they sent me a replacement.I am very happy with the sensors, Wi-Fi Gateway, and the overall functionality of the App.Super happy with the recent response from their support team. I use this product to monitor temperature & humidity in parked campervan, shed, etc. Product is accurate & works well, with good bluetooth connectivity with remote smartphone app. Latest version has much improved battery access for annual battery change. This product is rather expensive, but it is well built, very accurate, and very small - so easy to place

On est très satisfait du produit. On met l'appli, on met le boîtier ou on veut et on retrouve sur l'appli une courbe de température et une d'humidité. Fonctionne en Bluetooth mais l'appareil peut garder une vingtaine de jour les données en mémoire pour les Rapatrier dans le téléphone si vous n'étiez pas à côté. Mesures très précises !

I'm not often given to writing reviews, but in this instance I had to make an exception. For occupational and safety reasons, it is important for me to know early morning outdoor temperatures especially through the winter months. Over the years I've had so many so called weather stations with an outside sensor and an indoor read out. Mostly these have been next to useless, hardly ever making the claimed wireless connection irrespective of where they were placed. Looking for yet another solution, I came across SensorPush, never heard of them, no idea what they were about, or indeed if this would be the answer to the eternal problem. So I emailed the guys at SensorPush outlining my problem and what I needed to achieve. Allowing for the time difference, I got a prompt reply which from a customer service point of view was very encouraging, a brief further exchange of emails and they were able to confirm the unit most suitable for my needs, which I duly purchased there and then. I cannot begin to tell how impressed I am with this product, it is absolutely brilliant, having downloaded the app and paired with my phone, all I needed to do was position the sensor in an outdoor protected location (as advised by the guys at SensorPush) and this has worked flawlessly. I now have accurate outdoor readings from anywhere in the house (bluetooth range seems fine so far) I'm sure I will add additional internal sensors mostly for controlling humidity later in the year
