These are perfect for wireless monitoring or your protein cooks. I love the fact the the meat probes monitor the internal and ambient temperatures at the the same time. The app is awesome. A couple of times I did have the a probe lose signal but after a couple of minutes reconnect.

I have used many wireless and wired digital temp probes. This is by far the best one. I went with the two pack but they make it in a four probe package as well. I do not see any way to expand mine from two to four, but if you think you may need four go ahead and get the four pack.The software is also great and works over the internet. You can even monitor it from the grocery store, range is never a problem. The software also lets select the type of food, meat, etc and how you want it done and automatically sets it for the right temp, you can also do custom temperature and names for your favorite items. It even calculates when the food will be done and does a count down time. I use it for everything that goes in the oven. Every probe has multiple temperature sensors and displays ambient (oven) temp as well. It has high and low temp alarms and will alert you when it reaches the target temp you selected.Uses USB-C which makes it easy to recharged and it will even recharge the probes off of its own internal battery. Very cool, very high tech, very precise, very user friendly and great software. Battery life is great.I can not think of a single way to make this even better. Nice to have a product so well designed and at such a reasonable price.

I have been using Meater pro and pro 2 probes for over a year. I also have the Fireboard system for my offset smoker specifically. The meater probes have been less and less accurate over time. The ambient temp has never been accurate. Being I smoke and grill very regularly, I needed something that was going to be dependable and accurate. I received these as a gift and put them to use immediately. They worked flawlessly, the ambient temp was spot on, the probes were absolutely accurate. I love the wifi capability too, and for the price, you're not going to find a better option.

Had this since Black Friday and glad I bought it. I have used it at least 8 times. I knew the brand from a wired version which is over a year old and still works. Got this because it is more convenient with no wires and has wifi.Everything works as advertised. The app works great and connected without a hitch on android.Battery life is as advertised.I probably could be okay with the two probe model.

I think the temps are off. My thermapen one was reading a higher temp when tested.

It seems accurate, but isn't quite what I was hoping for.I bought this to monitor foods while smoking, these are very long cooks 12+hours and if you run to the store and bring your phone all the data from the cook is gone and you cannot monitor temps.Also, the monitor base needs to be left at the smoker on the charger base if you want it to last the whole smoke.The probes claim to last up to 36 hours, which I'll say I've had them last 18 hours, but they were on low battery so I don't see how you could get another 18 hours.I was hoping to throw a brisket on the smoker and hop on the Harley and be able to check on my cook at stops, but that is not going to happen with this unit.
