About this item

  • Plan for unforeseen emergencies - Tenergy's multifunctional NOAA weather radio is a must-have tool during disasters such as power outages, hurricanes, or earthquakes; built-in tools such as led flashlight, SOS siren, USB power bank, and radio frequencies like AM, FM, and WM are critical in a crisis.
  • Multiple ways to power - recharge the built-in 2000mAh battery by generating energy with the hand crank or solar panel, or through other power sources such as the included AAA batteries or USB power source.
  • Emergency flash lights and siren - illuminate the dark with the two LED flash lights that can shine up to 120 lumens, or use the SOS light and siren which flashes SOS in Morse code to alert others to accidents or urgent situations.
  • Backup battery bank - the built-in li-ion battery in this weather alert radio can double as a renewable power source for cell phones and electronics when fully charged.
  • Tested and certified by CE, PSE, Rohs, and includes Tenergy's lifetime support with our team based in California.

Excited to have this product. You never know when you're going to be in a situation where you need a solar powered radio or a hand cranked phone charger. Regardless I've got both. What a wonderful device.

It’s what you expect . Can run on batteries or solar . Just wat you need if things go sideways

It is small and light and has a nice sturdy case. There are several ways to charge it without batteries but AAA batteries are an option. My only hesitation is that the antenna is thin and light I hope it holds up. We will mostly be using the weather band. The sound is good. The flashlight and spotlight will come in handy too.

Good for weather radio stations. Has ability to charge phone and other electronics during power outage. Solar charges in low light.

This multifunction system was purchased to augment/replace a old hand cranked radio/weather alert/light/cell phone charger, because the older device didn’t offer a USB port for the cell phone charging capability and didn’t have a solar panel charging capability. Other than turning it on to see if the radio and the cell phone charging capabilities worked, I (fortunately) haven’t had a need to use it. As hurricane season is upon us (US east coast), there may be some reason to get more use out of it. I’m giving the manufacturer the benefit of the doubt about their product until such a time as it proves that cannot be supported. If a problem arises, I will update this review. Likewise, if something comes up that highlights a feature that, without it, survival or even mere comfort were greatly enhanced, I will also update this review in order to showcase that attribute.

Bandwidth too small and with mechanical tuning makes finding and listening to a local 50 kwatt AM radio station challenging.FM had a similar problem. Reception on weather station was marginal. Size was great, light was functional, case was a nice touch, but the radio is the most important part and it is below par.

El material es muy bueno, funcionan todas las caracteristicas, por estar en México la frecuencia de NOOA no es captada, las luces muy buenas. Recomendable

Well...in India you don't have much of a user for an emergency radio as there aren't any dedicated weather radio channel...however this particular radio is a great product for a emergency radio which is hand cranked & also has multiple sources of charging...can be used as an emergency power bank too for your phone...very stylish & looks awesome...expensive though as a radio...
