This is the second time I’ve purchase these. First time 3 years go and it was well constructed. This time I purchase two and the gauge of steel is noticeably lighter weight.Now the company is less engaged in solving the problem in returning the items. They contacted once after two weeks. I told them I couldn’t wrap it up in the same clear plastic wrap that it was originally shipped in. Shipping was nearly two weeks later than promised.Look at all the options before ordering.

This is a very nice heavy duty office cabinet. Other cabinets of this quality are $700.00 and up. I have always been a big fan of HON cabinets but I couldn't pass up the price of this one assembled. The quality is equal to or better. One shelf is all copy paper. No sag. No problem. The doors operate perfectly once the cabinet is sitting square. Just because it is sitting on a floor doesn't mean it's square. Some shimming may be required. I would not recommend this unit for mechanical shop duty. Those cabinets are $1500.00 and up. I bought this cabinet 3 months ago and I am very satisfied. It provides A LOT of storage. It was delivered, well protected on a pallet, undamaged. Great cabinet & great delivery (to my back door). Highly Recommended.

We ordered this cabinet and it's mate, the J2478SUC-CPY for our garage. The cabinets were well packaged for shipping, and arrived undamaged. The metal is sturdy enough for home or light-industrial use, but I would be concerned to use these in a heavy-use environment. The doors on both units are very slightly mis-aligned, not enough to impede function, but noticeable when you look at them closely.The doors only have one latch, on the right, the left door has no latch at all, so when you open the right door, the left will swing freely. Do not expect high security from the locks, but they will keep out curious kids.The shelves and shelf supports are quite sturdy, and I'm sure will have no issue holding the advertised weight in whatever you store in there. The anti-lift shelf supports work well, although the metal flange on them protrudes a bit and is a little sharp.The 24 gauge cabinet body itself quite thin, and will dent, and bend when moving around your area, so be careful when you're setting the cabinets up, or you will dent them.They units have leveling feet only on the front two corners, the rear of the cabinet rests on the bent sheet-metal footer. This isn't a problem once the units are set, but it makes moving them into place a bit cumbersome, as you slide the thing around on that back panel. The leveling feet are also very small and thin for a cabinet this size, but again, should be adequate.There are no built-in wall anchors or mounting holes. I drilled 3 holes in the upper back plate to secure to our wall with some cabinet screws.Overall this is an adequate, large cabinet, and should satisfy our needs, or anyone who's just looking for a decently made, closing metal cabinet. The 24" depth is really good for storing those larger items. Fit and finish were overall good, although the doors are slightly off-square.

Description says each shelf holds 400 pounds. Not even close. We bought it thinking it would be heavy duty but a much less expensive shelf would have done the same job. It’s fine if you don’t need something heavy duty.

WOW. Good news - it comes fully assembled. Bad news - it comes fully assembled. hahaThis is one 230 pound huge honkin' cabinet. Awkward to move. *TIP* the doors lift right off for easier gripping and less weight.Very heavy duty, loads of room, well made, good handles, doors shut even. Shelves are just a little hard to adjust (I needed 2 people) but worth it because they are very strong.Looks good enough to use in spare bedroom. Using mine for extra pots & pans; crock pots; oversize kitchen items and gadgets; stock of paper goods, etc. SO MUCH ROOM :DLost 1 star because despite being well wrapped it does have some cosmetic damage on the bottom of one side. Polished some of it out and it's hidden by the wall so I'm happy with my small compensation for the damage.

Excellent cabinet with a lot of space, nice deep shelves for items that are too long for most shelves yet need/want to keep dust free. Has helped organize my place significantly and freed up a lot of room. I will likely get another one at some point to keep side projects out of the way as a holding area when not working on them and as a general dust free spare space.Living in an appartment it was quite a task getting it through the door as it comes preassembled and wrapped very well onto the pallet with side wrapping about an 1" or more of cardboard protecting it. So be prepared for it to be turned onto it's side and barely making it through but it's worth it once in place. It has added to the amount of vertical space I can utilize that is otherwise wasted.

This is just what I was looking for... the cabinet is large and quite sturdy. Shipped completely assembled and arrived on time and in good condition. Since the cabinet was so large it was shipped via a freight carrier and was delivered to my home by a local freight carrier in a smaller freight truck. I was notified about the delivery via an email and phone call.

Heavy duty. Shipped super fast! Only con is that it was hard for me to find someone to make more keys. Lost a star for that because they can't do partial stars. Bought for work and they work great for my heavy items. We have purchased 6 total.
