I needed a 50 amp extension that would bend 90* in a fairly short distance for hooking up my generator. This one worked.

This adapter fits easily into the dryer outlet at the house my wife inherited from her Mom. I plug the other end into a heavy duty 240 volt extension that in turn my go-kit's charger will connect to. That lets me park in the garage, snake wire out the laundry to the hall and rec room and charge my Cadillac LYRIQ. Has paid for itself in terms of not going to the expensive commercial chargers.The cord itself is very well made. Nothing cheap or flimsy. Gives confidence. Easy to grasp and connect or disconnect.

We are using this for my teenagers who have electric vehicles. So far itΓ’β¬β’s great! The cord is easy to maneuver and very flexible. the performance is exactly what we expected itΓ’β¬β’s very durable and we have had no connectivity issues thus far. Overall a great value for the money!

Since I didn't know how long of an extension cord I would need for trips, I ordered the 30 ft cord. While it is very well made and the plugs are easy to use, the cable is heavy and can be frustrating when coiling back up after each use. Otherwise, well made and no concerns of this breaking.

When travelling in our EV to visit family, instead of using public EV chargers we use this adapter to plug our portable EV charger (14-50) into their 220v dryer outlets (10-30). Just ensure the portable charger isn't set to a higher amperage than the circuit can handle. Let the EV charge while you sleep and wake up to a fully charged vehicle each morning. It works great!
