They start crumbling after about a year in the AZ heat. Once that happens and they get tapped by the axle they break apart. The Jeep rubber that is still inserted in them and is the part that takes the impact are still going strong after 12 years. They are a nice inexpensive alternative to the hydronic bump stops but I will replace with them next time.

Great idea, not all springs will fit around these. Also you will pretty much have to remove the entire axel to get enough space to reinstall spring. I gave 2 stars since it is a good quality and alternative to adding stops on the axle.
