Beat Speed Adjustment/Start Pause Button

Short press START/STOP button to start the beat playback, and then press"START/STOP again to stop the playback.

Twist START/STOP button to change the metronome speed.

Rhythm Change

Short press Rhythm button to switch the rhythm type to pick a rhythm out of 9 types to practise.

Beat Change

Press to change beat out of 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9.

Voice

Short press VOICE/RHY button to switch the voice. There are 8 voices to choose from.

Volume/Sound

Short press vol/SOUND button to enter the volume mode.

Twist START/STOP button to adjust the volume.

Short press START/STOP or vol/SOUND button to exit the volume mode.

Timer

Press TIMER button shortly to enter the timer mode. You can set 0-59 minutes or 0-23 hours to help you practice.

TAP

I hated my old click-click metronome, so decided to get a high quality timer, whether electronic or mechanical, I hadn't quite decided. I looked at and was ready to purchase a high end, expensive device when I noticed the Terence. It had everything I would need at half the cost. With a generous return time, why not. It came a day early! Came fully-charged. It is quite easy to use once one matches the directions with the features. Nice display, good sound, great rhythm and beat options. I'm completely satisfied!

Lots of nice features in this device that will make it a good practice tool.My only wish is for softer/gentler ticks and beats so that I may also use for sleep. These are too harsh/loud for that rather odd ball use. Otherwise a nice device.

This is a very nice metronome, which gives a sound for the beat of music played on an instrument or sung. It is especially useful for a group of musicians or singers. After I got one, I gave a couple to the local grade school, where young people are learning to be future musicians or singers.

This unfortunate piece of electronics worked well at first. Loud enough, with many options for keeping time, even a human voice. I used it as directed for 6 months. Now suddenly it won't charge. It turns on and blacks out. Strangely, there is a slot on the back for batteries, but no metal contacts in there. Plus it says it takes AAA batteries, but it does not, because AAA batteries are way too small for this device. AA batteries are way too big. Makes no sense.

Simple and very easy to use product , has great volume and is very compact to carry around. Battery on this is very good. We use this for my daughters dance practice as she goes for asian cultural dances. Teacher recommends a device of this type to practice ... We loved this device and it helps with Timing, Rhythm, Building speed and improving precision. We are very happy with the purchase.

I returned this after it really dawned on me while owning several electronic devices that have a lithium battery permanently installed - the battery deteriorates and you end up plugging it in always - or end up throwing the whole thing away. This is a nice one but decided to get their model that enables replaceable batteries. I also got an expensive wind up metronome which I enjoy even more.

A really nice metronone with several useful options and modes.The ONLY issue I have, and it's more an annoyance than an actual issue, is the battery meter on screen is only tied to the removable batteries, not the built-in rechargeable lithium battery. Not something that makes me drop a star, but it just means there is always a low battery alert as long as you are only using the built-in one.
