Tessan may not be a brand you've heard of but I can assure you this product is well-made and works perfectly. Years ago, I purchased a lower-quality plug adapter which worked, but felt cheap and had a rubberized coating that is now weirdly sticky. The build quality of the Tessan is superior and the prongs for Europe (in this case Italy) protrude farther, making a better connection. See my photos for three different applications -- all in Italy. The photos show a hotel room, train armrest, and Delta Airlines flight (Premium Select on a Boeing 767-400ER 764 Layout 2 as shown on SeatGuru). I realize that the adapter wasn’t necessary on the plane & train due to the plane’s universal receptacle, but I wanted you to see the photo anyway to illustrate what it would look like if needed.It's important to note that when you move the slider that corresponds to the country you're adapting to, you have to:1. push the slider knob in2. then slide it across to make the prongs extend3. then keep pressing until it moves to the very end of the slot4. then slide it even a little more until you feel the spring-loaded knob lock into place and "snap out" a littleIf you don't lock the knob, the adapter's prongs will retract back into the body when you try to plug it into the wall and you'll think it's a piece of junk. I promise you it's not junk if you use it correctly.It has universal international receptacles to accept all plug types from your home country. It also has four USB-A ports on the bottom for charging phones, tablets, etc. It's great because you don't need to rely on the little while cube for your iPhone (or whatever Samsungs come with). Just plug the USB cable right into this adapter.IMPORTANT: Keep in mind THIS IS NOT A VOLTAGE CONVERTER. It only *adapts* the shape of the plug's prongs for devices that can run on 100 - 240 volts -- such as most laptop chargers, phone/tablet chargers, etc. Don't try to plug a U.S. hair dryer into this adapter in Europe (or anywhere with 220-240 volts). You'll destroy the device and possibly cause a fire. For that application, you'd need a voltage converter.

I used this on my trip to Europe last summer and it was perfect! Adjusted to every outlet I needed and even though it is bulky, it fits everywhere and amazing for world travels! 10/10!

This product worked great for travel to Austria and Germany. It has multiple USB ports for charging phones and could also accept a grounded 3-prong plug from the US style -- something that is hard to tell from pictures of these types of products, and they don't all have that ability, or spell it out in the product descriptions. The only thing I wish is I had two of them, but between this and the non-3 prong that I got from another company, my traveling companion and I were able to make the situation work.

We used these converts when we traveled to Italy (Venice and Rome). For most of our electronics (iphones, iwatch, laptop, spare battery), the converter worked great. For a heating pad and curling iron, not so great.

I recently did an Asia trip and was worried about how I would charge my devices. As a result, I decided to give this product a try because I was looking for something small and portable. This travel adapter fit the bill so I gave it a shot and needless to say it was exactly what I was looking for! It features multiple USB outlets which were perfect for charging my phone and other devices and what makes it even better is that I can use this for my next trip in Europe too!When traveling, I try not to bring too many devices with me so the 4 USB outlets are more than enough for my use-case and what makes it even better is that my partner doesn't need to worry about bringing their own adapter because they can share with me! One of my biggest pain points in the past was having to individually buy adapters specific to the country I'm visiting and then misplacing them later. This travel adapter keeps everything in one place which is awesome because now I can never misplace a single adapater anymore!Definitely would recommend this little gadget for any international traveling enthusiasts!
