Needed this for my other sieves to separate different sizes of grains for black powder to get the fines out

I've tried some other sieves, but apparently there is no real standard as to what 20cm/8" means. They don't fit well onto any of my bowls, so this, along with one of their matching sieves all make a seal well enough that I don't get flour all over the place when I'm sifting out bran. Kinda pricey for what it is, but it does the job well.

These are all supposed to be 8". The sides of the pan angle inward just enough so that the inner diameter is about 0.8 mm too small.

Sized right for use in Adamas-Beta sieving system. I have found that having multiple pan and lid units gives lots of flexibility to optimize sieving schemes for determining particle size histograms over a wide range of different sample types. Surface is very durable and resistant to chemicals and corrosion, making it easy to clean and providing for consistent taring.

Works well for processing small sample sizes. I use for soil. Only downside is that the lid and sieves (same company) don’t nest in the base pan securely so care is needed to avoid sample loss and dust.
