Very convenient, takes a little getting used to but simplifies your work very good probes with top quality silicon wires, as good as fluke probes or better.

I meant what I said, you don't need this meter. There are much cheaper ones out there that does so much more. This thing is snail slow in taking any measurement. It's very well made but that's it!It does not have any advanced functions so make sure and read the specifications if you're thinking about getting this anyway. I did not need this meter but wanted to order in a backup to my wonderful Greenlee DM860 which is about 5 years old now. Seeing as Testo is one of the industry standard for HVAC I took the chance. Boy was I so wrong. This meter is very slow to respond to any measurement and that alone is going to drive you nuts. I spent 10 minutes with this thing and can't help but feel angry to actually use it. I've use many cheap meters over the years that were given to me and they are much faster than this. I'm very unhappy with this and I don't see myself buying Testo again!

I bought this meter because Testo products are usually quality and made in Germany. I’m an commercial/industrial HVAC service technician so I use this meter pretty much on a daily basis. It’s a nice meter for the most part but I’m not a fan of how the meter takes a second to give you a reading. For lack of a better term it hesitates. Also I couldn’t find out anywhere on the box or meter if it was made in Germany. I bought a Fluke 116 meter and like it better. It gives out the readings instantly. I like the dial design better too than pushing a button to get to the correct test like the Testo.

It is a very good multi meter and is Made in Germany. It is accurate but not as good as Fluke (I use Fluke 28 ii for cross checking purpose which is my reference meter). As the rotary knob is substituted by press buttons, it is very convenient for quick measurements and one hand operation. Battery consumption appears to be slightly high and the original batteries got consumed within a week....

This is an auto ranging meter and therefore auto ranges, the auto range can take a good portion of a second, but it works well. Voltage and Current are both single buttons so it will need to work out AC/DC as well as the range, it tends to start in AC, most of the time, which is good for an electrician but a small overhead for electronics work. It does though work very well. As does the autos witch when you move the probes to current, yes the meter display blanks and it may be turning off and on again when you do this, but it is fast. Not sure why other reviews I have seen/watched elsewhere don't like this apparent off/on business. The one range that does not always auto terribly well is continuity/capacitance/resistance/etc. Occasionally it makes a mistake and goes for the wrong measurement but this is easy to over-ride.The leads supplied are good quality and it easily meets the CAT ratings given, as far as I can tell it is well within the accuracy ranges quoted.

Rien a dire, un excellent multimètre. A recommander.
