This tether ball game took me back a few years to my elementary school playground. It is pretty easy to set up, I used an old tire and cement. It comes with the poles, ball and string. The base pole has some rebar attached to aide with stability in the concrete. Depending on the size of the tire you use you will need between 80-100lbs of concrete. I recommend filling the rubber portion of the tire with dirt then using the concrete to fill in the middle. It will cut down on the amount of concrete you have to use. The boys love going out and playing with this just as I did when was there age. Once you set the base pole the rest is just slipping the poles together and attaching the ball.

Tetherball is always fun, no matter how old you are. It’s one of those games every kid should get to play. It’s also great sensory input for our sensory seeking kiddos. Setup is quite involved and takes a while to complete. You can use an old tire, which when combined with the concrete makes it sturdy but still moveable. Assembling the pole easy. I am not sure how well the pole will hold up over time, but it should last a while. I do think that this is totally overpriced, especially considering you still need a tire/bucket and concrete to make it work. With this kit you get the pole, string, ball and a cheap air pump. Other than that, it’s as described.

This is such a fun thing to do! I'm consistently looking for new things for my family to do together, or something that my girls can enjoy when their friends stop over. After searching for a while, I found this very well-designed Tetherball Set. Curious to see how this would be used at home, I ordered it. Now that I have this home, I will gladly attest that I find that this is an extremely well-thought-out Tetherball set. The materials feel premium grade. In this kit if offers two different types of tetherballs, you may choose to use the "rubber" or "soft" tetherball. The total height is 10.43 ft. Based on a positive experience I would recommend this to other consumers. My girls have had a fun time using this with their friends.

This looks like be a decent kit of good quality. I'm giving it as a gift to a friend for his kids, but I'll leave it up to him as to whether to use a tire with cement or to install it in the ground at a permanent location. As they have a dog, I went with the classic ball because she loves to chase things even in the air and I doubt this'll be any different.

This is a decent tetherball set for our play yard. It’s nice that it can be installed in-ground or set in a tire with cement for a somewhat portable option. The pole feels solid, and the kids are having a blast playing with it!

My kids love tetherball and we love this set! It was easy to put together, tolerates heavy play - and the kids love it!
