I bought a renewed one..so not brand new..I've never purchased anything used from Amazon I've always been nervous to do such a thing but this was the best purchase! I am extremely satisfied with this used product. It was clearly barely used and well taken care of, it was boxed and shipped nicely as well. I would definitely buy a used item again to save the money.

It's great it does all of its functions correctly. However, you frequently need to reset it because once you do a few problems, the next one it says that there is an error. Other than that, it's pretty cool.

After about two months, it pooped-out, and never turned back on again. New batteries, and tried to adjust the display brightness. Nothing. What a waste. No support.

In the same month I got another refurbished item and this one works better than the other one. It came in and had no issues, brought batteries, cheaper than normal TI. I actually like the silver edition design a lot too.

I haven’t used the TI-84 since high school for pre-cal and I forgot how great this calculator is. I bought this refurbished and it was still in great condition! I’m able to use it for my statistics class and it’s able to help me with a lot of formulas (normalcdf, compute tables, etc.). I went the cheaper route before buying this one and the other brand didn’t have the same functions. I would recommend this specific brand for anyone who is in pre-cal and above.
