Keep your line and fly floating with a can of Thames Mucilin or Slilicone Based Mucilin provided by Angler's Accessories. This paste works as both a line and fly dressing, providing extra flotation and suppleness for your line.

Works on flies, as well as fly line. I usually coat the leading 10 feet or so of a floating line when fishing drys and it really helps

The product is amazing, and so is AvidMax, the company it shipped from.If you live in a warm place (I live in central Missouri and it’s basically an oven), I’d suggest going to Walmart and getting a 3-pack of Carmex with the screw-on lids. Take two of those, scrape all the cream out and wash out the residue with hot water and Dawn (or equivalent). Dry it thoroughly, then pack your Mucilin in those Carmex bottles because those will screw on tight and prevent any leakage. Mucilin basically liquifies in hot temperatures and the factory package will not seal completely. Plus, the Carmex bottles are small .25 oz bottles that fit into even the smallest pocket of your vest/tackle, so it travels very well. This is a great product!!

The product works as described. But be sure to order it in the colder months. I received my order when it was 90*F/ 32*C, and it was a mess. I had to freeze the envelope and container in the freezer and then scrape everything and collect it.

I have happily thrown away my bottles of "Gink" and use Mucllin for both dressing my dry flies and also my floating line. It comes with a handy felt pad so applying it to the line is easy. Also, very nice floatant on flies, really works and looks natural. A Classic!!!

I have use this product for quite a few years now and it has stood the test of time. It does collect dirt a bit worse that some of the lotion types, so cleaning your line is important, but it performs and holds up better. I fish with spey and micro spey rods and the lines for them are expensive so making them last pays off. I have never had a bad reaction on 4 different brands of line ( Galeforce, Rio, Royle Wolff and Airflow ) so I feel that it is safe for the different types of plastics used to make the lines. Tight lines and be safe.

The product becomes a liquid on hot summer days and makes it impossible to use on dry flies.
