I don't use this blade for every project, so I switch blades often. These deep point blades go in and out of the blade holder on my Cricut Maker easily. I used a marker on the sponge in the blade container to mark which blade I use. Once it starts to make a slightly rough cut, I can use a file to smooth out the edges of the magnet until I can't do that any longer and replace the blade. However, I've only had to change the blade once as the sharpness lasts a long time.

So far I’ve cut a bunch of heat transfer Vinyl. The first blade is holding up well and still cutting nicely. Great value for the money.

I like these better than the cricut ones. I normally have to do the cutting on the strongest setting, but these tips are so sharp it was WAY too tough for my projects and it cut through the transfer tape. So, do not use the highest setting.
