My ten year old loves these. They fit true to size and are so, so so soft! The color is probably my favorite part, I love the deep teal that's so pretty. These were great for holiday parties and now they've transitioned to being everyday school pants and I'm impressed that they really worked both ways.

Based on the current sizing chart, of X-small to XX-large I took a guess and ordered a medium for a 6 year old. Turns out a medium = size 7-8. She wears a 6-7 so these pants are too big for her to actually wear right now. She really likes them and is disappointed that she will need to grow into them.The material is soft, with an elastic waistband. The leg is wide throughout. They look really comfortable, easy to put on and fashionable. They seem pretty true to size if you knew what the sizing equated to. I hope they update the sizing chart so others can order the correct size.

True to size and the fabric is soft. i was expecting it to be a little thicker so that it can be warmer for the legs on colder days. It isn't see through so that's a plus! But i do recommend my daughter to wear tights underneath so that she stays warm. I think this is best for spring time wear.
