I know it says slim but it is SLIM. My five year old is a little small for her age and skinny but she could not get these on. They felt nice and soft, I'll be returning them for a bigger size.

I purchased these for my 12 yr. old. I thought for sure I should have ordered a size up, but they fit her perfectly lengthwise and waist size. She was only disturbed by the fake zipper. I ordered slim to fit her waist and she is a little shorter than most kids at her age. These do have adjustable waist which is always a plus. I won't buy jeans or jeggings without an adjustable waist. My girls hate jeans that leave that air conditioning gap at their backside when they are sitting. It's just uncomfortable and makes them feel insecure. So overall besides not having a zipper, in which I feel is one less worry about being caught up in an XYZ moment. I give these jeans a 5+.

For reference my daughter turned 6 on Monday and these were delivered on Friday. She is very skinny (still fits in 4T but they are too short) and very tall. About 30th percentile for weight and 80th for height. Anyway, I thought these jeans would be perfect because they had the adjustable waist but were long enough. Nope. They were so small she couldn’t even get them over her feet. I was trying to help her force them when I realized how difficult this would make changing clothes and going to the bathroom for her and decided to return them. They seem like good material and I ordered Children’s Place jeans for my 4 year old that fit well but these are just a miss.
