My 7 year old is on the petite side and the XS fits perfect. She weighs about 45lbs, between 45-46 in and of an average/slim build. The material is soft and very stretchy, resembles exercise pant material. Pockets are great for storing…rocks (😂) and other small trinkets/pieces of trash (most of the time). They wash well, she’s been wearing them for a couple of months regularly. I don’t dry them, so I cannot speak to how they handle the dryer. Overall, the quality and construction are great. Would recommend!

I am fortunate I can pick clothes from the girls’ department. Of course, given there are sizes over 14yrs. or XL/XXL. In this case, I went for the XXL with good result. Hem hits right at the ankle. Overall fit was comparable to a petite XS in adult.Fabric is as expected for active wear. Price point is a plus under 20 bucks given the quality. Five Stars

Fits way too tight, emphasized my muffin top. Order larger than you need. Otherwise the material used is nice and seems like good construction.
