It was smaller than I expected, but the size was declared correctly. Read the specs. It is battery powered and thus cordless. This helped on the desk with no availabile plugs nearby. The LED bulbs promise excellent battery life. Plenty of light for the bedroom school desk.

Not as big as I expected but it does light up a whole desk (the point of a desk lamp) getting ready for college in the fall so this'll be a good addition to my dorm room . 3 AA batteries weren't included. Not sure if it was said in the description

This light is extremely small and is SOOOOO not a good desk lamp. It provides very little light and the batteries run dead very quickly and i do not have the option to plug it in. Plus its so lightweight its always falling over whenever we try to adjust it. It would make an excellent nightlight for a child but sucks as a desk lamp. Prepare for eye strain!

I didn't expect much for the price and still came away disappointed. The lights are really bright so it does have that going for it but obviously the main purpose of buying this is for the sports branding and on that it doesn't really deliver. I bought the Washington Huskies one and it is NOT a nice deep purple like you see in the picture, it's a very light and washed out purple. The logo and wording are ok I guess but the materials are so cheap it doesn't matter. It's the most plasticy, chintzy, fragile lamp I've ever seen, the thing couldn't weigh more than a pack of gum. I only paid $11 and that was waaay too much. This thing belongs in one of those claw machines at Chucky Cheese along with all the other cheap disposable junk that's always in those things!Pros:- light is really bright- portableCons:- insanely cheap materials- washed out colors- price (seriously, this thing should be $5 tops)Bottom Line:I just want to reiterate, I know the main purpose of buying this lamp is for the team color/logo, not for functionality yet I still say it's not even remotely worth it. To me the most telling part of any review is whether or not you'd buy it again and I must say if I had a redo I would definitely steer clear. Oh and whatever you do, DON'T BUY THIS AS A GIFT, you'll look like a jack(rear end)!

This is great for any Penn State Fan! It's pretty small, but works very well. It is made of plastic so is very light - and provides a good bit of light when turned on. You are not going to be able to light an entire room with this, but should be able to see what you are doing at a desk.This was a gift for my Dad - a big Penn State Fan - and he loves it!

I would have given it two stars but since it has Gamecocks on it, I just couldn't do it. I'm sure that in the description of the product it stated the size of the lamp and that also it was battery operated. However, I was very disappointed in the size, it looks much larger in the picture, and I didn't realize that it was battery operated. I wouldn't suggest this to any other Gamecock fans, but I would to all the Clemson Tiger fans!!! I bought the lamp to go in my office, that is decorated in Gamecock stuff but it just doesn't stand out at all!! Also, it looks cheap too, just not made very well. I wish I would have just bought a more expensive lamp now!!! GO GAMECOCKS!!!!!!!

Neat little desk lamp. Thought it would be bigger though, it is really small but very bright. Great little gift for anyone.

A nice little lamp used mainly for decoration in my office. I think the price was right and the lamp does look nice.
