I've always wanted one of these original pots from the Melting Pot, and now I own one! I haven't used it yet, but I can honestly tell you that it is EXACTLY the same heavy quality and size pot. This is it! It was packaged very securely in a Melting Pot box, so would make a great gift presentation as well. I went ahead and purchased an extra Bon Chef 5151 Stainless Steel Bowl so I can have a chocolate fondue immediately after my cheese fondue without worrying about clean up. Lol. Go ahead and get it. It may sound expensive, but c'mon, it's high quality and the REAL thing!I also purchased the OVENTE Countertop Infrared Single Burner to use as the heat source.

Very solid, works on induction stove top or traditional electric hot plate. Cleans easily. Fun to use for chocolate or cheese. Pricey but we enjoy using it. Takes up much less space than an electric unit.

No joke, worth the money. You need an induction burner for this but it’s well worth it. I worked at melting pot for years and it’s a true replica.

Makes the best cheese fondue, only negative comment/reason for 4 stars is that the fondue forks have a wooden part instead of the plastic shown in pictures...
