At last uniformity in my four gas containers. Finally I do not have to dink around with 4 different cap security systems when I am usually in a rush. All caps fit snug and no leaks. Alas Airtight no blank has on my hands or blacktop. Simple fix for a major annoyance. John Cusack

If you get a Midwest gas can from Harbor Freight, you will find the nozzle and ring will break. The can itself is excellent (comes from same factory in Latvia as Wavian). These caps allow you to seal the can after the HF nozzle and cap fail (and they will fail for sure, look at HF reviews). If you keep the nozzle in the tank and add this cap, it will seal and it is gas tight. Unfortunately the cap is too deep to work by itself if you don't keep the nozzle in the tank. Not a big deal I guess. Oh, and you will need a new nozzle/spout after market as well. Better yet, spend the money and just get a Wavian can with the old Jerry can design, which admittedly is expensive, and you won't have to go through this circus. Buy once, cry once. But if you have the can already, the above works.

It seems to be too deep to fit my Blitz can. I shaved some off the lip of the cap but now its thin where the grooves are. I expect it to crack at any moment. We will see.

It would be helpful if at least two extra rubber gaskets were included in the cap kit because some the caps would seal better with an additional gasket were inserted in the caps....

We have 20+ 5 gallon plastic gas cans that we use for all sorts of things and all of these modern, overthought contraptions of caps and spouts are just silly, easily broken, leak, and totally useless. We use a transfer pump and these caps when storing or transporting. Very little, if any leakage and it’s extremely simple.

The missing link to carrying gas cans inside vehicles/trailers safely. Much better than the things that came with my cans. I hope they hold up long term.

Appear of good quality, but the Cap unfortunately is a small bit too tall for all my Eagle and Blitz brand cans and therefore the base of the cap bottoms out against the can before a really tight seal is made so it leaks. If I can get some additional rubber washers maybe using two doubled will stop that leak problem. I also DON’T LIKE being forced to buy four when only two of them are useable! Please sell coarse and fine thread caps separately so we can actually use ALL of what we paid for. For the two tall problem, maybe using two rubber washers for additional total thickness may work... Better yet, a hint: buy the yellow EZ Pour brand; they work great!!!

Hard to fit nicely. One out of 4 storage tank screwed on no problem. All others (same type and make of container) had problems
