Your cart is empty.The Drop Set Pin by Performance Pin allows the trainee to perform additional, lower-weighted repetitions beyond the point of failure. When used as directed, they greatly increase the efficiency and intensity of your workout, all without even touching the pins or weight stack! They provide a method for the trainee to continue unassisted for more advanced, weight-descending multiset training techniques, commonly referred to as Drop Sets. These pins eliminate the delays common with repositioning weight selections and user positions on weight stack equipment. When a decrease of resistance is needed to continue the drop set, simply lower weight to resting position, allow the Drop Set Pin to automatically disengage, and continue with your lower pre-set weight selection(s). Before ordering, please be sure to check equipment compatibility! This product must be used with a standard weight stack equipment that does not contain enclosed weight stacks with guards! The weight stack must accept selector pins that are 4" long and 5/16" diameter. Ensure that the weight stack holes accept this device by measuring the default weight stack pin. They are not to be used on weight assisted equipment such as the tricep dip/pull-up/chin-up machine.

The drop set Pins work perfectly, adding to a great workout with time under tension. If I had a complaint, it would be the quality of material it's made of. It says it is made in the USA. However, it has a very cheap plastic/quality that is made in China. The parts are simple and looks like maybe 3 components. They cost $35 for the pair, but looks and feels like it cost less than $5, maybe $3 or less with mass production. Nonetheless, they work and works well. Outside of that, the first order never arrived. Had to cancel the order and reorder it again. Not sure where the problem is, but this is happening more and more. Amazon delivery service needs some attention.

This is my new favorite gym tool and they work like a charm! They don’t always fit with every cable machine if the height adjustable pulley is too close to the plates, but luckily my gym has different sets of cables and some work perfectly. Only reason I took off a star is because the plastic on one of them broke after the first use, but it’s still usable and the other one is fine. But overall, definitely a game changer for drop sets!

I was really excited to try the PERFORMANCE PIN for my gym workouts, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. The concept of an easy transition to lower weights for more reps sounded great, but in practice, it just doesn’t work smoothly. The pin often slips or doesn’t fit properly in the weight stack, making it more of a hassle than a helpful tool. It’s frustrating when you’re in the middle of a workout and have to keep adjusting the pin instead of focusing on your reps.On top of that, the build quality doesn’t match the price tag. For something that’s supposed to be “proudly made in America,†I expected a lot more durability and reliability. Instead, it feels flimsy and unreliable. I wanted this to be a game-changer for my workouts, but it ended up being a letdown. Save your money and look for a better alternative if you need a reliable weight stack pin for your gym sessions.
