When installed properly, the mounts have been tested with over 150lbs hanging from them...your shelf will fall down before these clips break! Please follow your shelf manufacturer's weight limits to prevent injury. Thousands of satisfied Tonal users have used our accessory mounts to create their own custom shelf to hang their Tonal Accessories. Your Tonal Home Gym comes with 4 accessories standard. Many users choose to purchase additional T-Locks directly from Tonal in order to add third party accessories such as ankle straps, V-bar, curling bar, etc. If you are planning on purchasing third party accessories, consider ordering more mounts for an additional discount. Many customers ask us what kind of shelf to get. We have seen all types of of shelves made limited only by your imagination. However, we can tell you that the majority of people will purchase either a 16" or 24" shelf. A typical 16" shelf can accommodate up to 4 mounts with proper spacing. A 24" shelf can accommodate either 4 or 6 mounts. Some customers have even used a wired shelf using their own wire ties to mount. Included in our package will be mounts, mounting screws, and instructions on how to best install the mounts.

TLDR: Bought the wooden shelf on Etsy, screwed these clips in and boom. Easy, high quality, classy and CHEAP!My husband and I walked into a Tonal store shortly after we bought our Tonal because we saw the accessories shelf through the window! We were enamored. I thought “oh, we need that!†And then we looked at the price tag—I was like “no way.†I refused to pay that much for what looked to be just simple MDF and wood decal paneling. I mean… it looked great from afar, but once you got up close to it, you realized it didn’t look thaaaat great.So it became my mission to find a better-looking option. And I’ve been so into DIY’ing lately that I was actually excited to achieve the look I was going for instead of settling with the Tonal brand shelf. I took down the dimensions of the Tonal brand shelf and found a better looking, high quality wooden shelf on Etsy.Finding the shelf was easy and cost effective. It was a little trickier finding the clips, because there are quite a few options. I wondered if plastic would be any good, because some of the Tonal accessories can be quite heavy!I read reviews and thought—okay, let’s give these a try. Went with black because I thought they’d blend well with the wood’s tone. These clips feel INCREDIBLE quality. When I was installing them onto the shelf, I was amazed with how nicely it screwed in using the screws that they came with.I evenly measured out the spots on the bottom of the shelf for the clips and usually I decide against using screws that come with things I buy on Amazon, because they’re usually not the greatest quality, but these were just perfect.The screws were easy to drill in, felt secure, and I felt confident about putting my Tonal smart accessories into them without worrying about them coming loose or falling to the ground.Great purchase, easy decision. These clips are the way to go!

Installation was simple enough, just screw them to the bottom of the shelf. They are only designed to hold the weight of the Tonal accessories themselves and with almost a year of use, they feel just as solid as they did new. I wouldn't try hanging from them, and I don't think I would trust a child to hang from them, but that's not what their for, so I say they work perfectly.

Much prefer this over buying the $50+ shelves on the market that all look the same and not very cute. These brackets are lightweight yet sturdy. You can attach them to any wall shelf out there. It has elevated and organized our set up. Love it!

Personally I like aluminum or steel when mounting but the plastic seems to work fine. Easy to install and pretty straightforward.
