Your cart is empty.The Writing CLAW is designed for proper grip development. With The Writing CLAW pencil gripper, children do not need to think about the mechanics of the correct grip. These writing aids are recommended by Occupational Therapists, Teachers & Principals. The ergonomic hand gripper fits on pencils, primary pencils, pens, crayons, markers, paint brushes, etc., so its benefits can be widely enjoyed. A comfortable hand has more control and shows improved handwriting. The colorful pencil gripper builds the positive habit of an efficient grip and produces improved handwriting and control. The shaped pencil holders have markings on the underside of the 'finger cups' to instruct on proper placement. These hand grips feel natural because of its ergonomic design and soft, flexible, latex-free material. The Writing CLAW Sampler pack contains two each of three grips, small, medium & large. The small grips are for pre-K children, the medium grips are for kindergarten-5th grade & most adult females and large grips fit 5th grade + children.

My son’s OT recommended this particular type of grip, and I love that these have different size options to choose from. He uses them on both his mechanical pencils and regular pencils with no issues. Very easy to slide on!

I need them for occupational therapy type work -- help me write without injurying my fingers more. Should have just bought a pack of small ones - this product is pitched at school children.

My son broke his pinky on his dominant hand so he is having to write left handed to do his math homework.It helps him control the pencil perfectly!The photo show his writing on only his SECOND day with his non dominant hand.I am amazed on how well this product works!

Love this grip as it requires students to put fingers in correct spot to make a proper tripod grip. It's the only grip our OT will recommend for student use.

While the product seems durable and high quality, it is not suitable for left handed kids. I had read reviews saying that these weren't meant for lefties, and bought them anyway, thinking the little cups for each finger could just be flipped inside out to suit our needs. Unfortunately that was not the case, so we had to return them. They seem like a good product for right handed kids, but they don't match the product description.
