I backpacked through Patagonia for about 7 months and this gadget helped me keep my phone on me at all time with the confidence of not losing it nor breaking it. I would use it strapped to my backpack to keep my phone accessible and secure. I would use it during boat rides to take videos and pictures without the fear of dropping and losing my phone. I recently gifted one to my brother who uses it for hunting and work as he seems to drop and lose his phone A LOT!I also recently used it while snorkeling. I strapped in my phone with a waterproof case and then clipped it onto my swimsuit. It worked perfectly. After all the use it's still in great condition.

The coil is strong and is probably perfect for people who clip it to their belt or similar situations.I clip it into my ski jacket pocket and the coil is too bulky for comfort.It grabs the phone very well and doesn’t let it slip off. And the case itself is not bulky. So I highly recommend it.

I had an original version one of these tethers. The metal ball join the back gave after about a month and then the rubber busted making it worthless. I ended up going with another company for 3 years before their tether eventually gave. I fish competitive kayak tourneys that use CPR so I need a good phone tether. I was hesitant to return to Rogue after the first experience but on recommendation from a buddy I gave it another shot.The product is much improved. The rubber and metal materials are vastly better than the original I had. I've been using it for several months now and am very pleased. It costs more than it used to, but the quality change is enough to justify that. I have a fairly large phone and the tether fits snug and keeps it safely attached to my life vest when I'm on the water. Highly recommend if you're looking for a good phone tether.

Got this to keep my phone safe while kayak fishing. I have use it several times and has been durable and functions the way it should. Installation is easy.

Bought this 4 years ago next month. Not a flaw on it. Rubber attachment for phone is still stiff and hold the phone securely. Elastic chord is still solid, no sag. Carabiner still good. I use this thing ALL THE TIME! I use it deer hunting i all weather, waterfowl hunting in all weather and lots of yuck weather. Kayaking and boating. I just put another on my birthday list so I dont have to keep moving my current one around. I could use a third. Lol. Definitely good quality that lasts through lots of use and 4yrs time so far.

This was so handy on my trip to Europe. I bought it after seeing something similar recommended on a solo women’s travel site. It was so easy to attach and detach from my cross body bag or backpack… whatever I was using that day. I felt safe, never worried about putting my phone down and forgetting it and took photos leaning over bridges, boats and balconies without worrying about dropping it. The bright colour made it easy to find on the occasions it was put inside my bag. Highly recommended.
