Like all Rag Company items I've purchased, this did not disappoint. Have used on 3 cars, and does the job easily and cleans up nice. Highly recommend - which I have to my detailing friends.

I was a bit skeptical about this but would like to try. The result are excellent. It does gets rid of that contaminents and make your ride smooth. I haven't tried the original way to use the real clay bar method but the way most of my friends discribe the result are the same. The application is a bit different in a way that this is a square foot of cloth and easy to handle while the clay bar is about a 4" in diameter when being applied.

3x faster than clay, with less aggressive and less scratch prone finish vs traditional clay. Totally novice friendly. No reason NOT to clay your car with these. They don't give quite the same finish as traditional clay, but the decon towel does 90% of the job in half the time and a tenth of the frustration.

I am not a professional car detailing, but a simple amateur. I think it is important to keep your car in the best possible condition and I believe this is achieved by following a few simple rules.For me, do not wash the car in the automatic systems, because these will inevitably ruin your paint and you will have to spend much money to polish the car.The second aspect concerns the decontamination of the paint from impurities that accumulate over time and that make your paint opaque, rough, "dull".For this procedure, not being a professional and knowing that the use of the clay bar is quite risky, I chose the Ultra Clay Towel.I found it incredibly easy to use, I used the fantastic Optimum No Rinse as clay lube and carefully decontaminated the Lexus "sonic titanium" paint.The result was incredible, the car looks like it is made of glass.The surface is smooth and the subsequent protection I applied now lasts longer.The advice of the RAG Company staff was indispensable and timely.I recommend this product.Remember to use it with care to use a lot of clay lube and only of high quality.

I use this on vehicles that need a little more claying and plan to polish after to eliminate any Marring that may occur. This isn’t a fine clay more a medium.

I used the synthetic clay towel with DIY Detail's iron remover and I had no issues, no scratches or marring of the paint. Recently used this on a white suv that showed a lot of orange fallout spots and the towel removed it all, leaving the paint super smooth. Glass and windshield were also done and it made a huge difference afterwards. Highly recommended.

If your car paint is badly contaminated then a clay bar is better.I used this on two cars, one that was clay bar'd 2 years ago and one that had never been clay bar'd.On the car that had been done previously this worked fine.On the other car it left good and bad 'feel' and most of the car I had to redo with a clay bar.I do think this will now be fine for follow up work.
