This story was fun, and had a great lesson on working together. Illustrations were engaging!

I'm a substitute teacher and I take books along with me to school in case I have a little time to fill during the day. I read this book to a 2nd grade class, who really liked it. Only one problem- one student must have really liked it- it had disappeared when I packed-up to go home at the end of the day.

Great! Yesterday my son did not want to share his bike with a kid that could no afford to have a bike. But, after he read the book, he told me “Let’s go to the park, I want to share my bike with all kids†The book has a lot of vocabulary and a teaching that adults and kids alike will not forget. Don’t doubt, what you learn buying this book has no price.

I love all the books by these 2 authors, especially The Lion Inside and The Koala Who Could. This book is a little more wordy so would be good with slightly older children, ages 4/5 and up.

My son loves this book and the silly squirrels, he’s 4. It’s a cute story and a sturdy book. The font colors though are bad on a few pages, dark on dark and makes it hard to read as a bedtime story.

The hard back is a nice quality book. The story is memorable with a very nice lesson. Love the ending. Very sweet.

Just get it! Somewhat cinematic in its imagery and action, and I also like that it rhymes.

Son unos libros geniales. A nuestra pequeña le encantan! Tenemos también “The lion inside†y “The whale who wanted moreâ€.

Another hit from Bright and Field! As ever, Bright's talent for taking a moral message and making it child friendly and engaging results in a story that children will love and adults will be happy to read again and again. This time the message is about the importance not being greedy, learning to share and working together. The writing bounces along and the illustrations are perfect and engaging, even requiring you to turn the book round in places to display a full picture - which will help maintain a child's concentration!. The printing quality is extremely high on nice thick pages.

My 2 year old kid loves this book and all the other books by Rachel Bright and Jim Field. Good quality board book, bright and beautiful illustrations with some really gorgeous landscape art, catchy wordings, lovely and meaningful stories that capture the imagination of not just our kids but of our own too.Go for it. It will be a wonderful addition to your and your children's library.
