It wasn’t what we expected. Not user friendly. Was hoping to enjoy looking at stars at night but takes too long to get it focused. It is light weight but unfortunately won’t get used much.

Same telescope you find in the kids' aisle at Walmart. The one at Walmart was $20 Clearance, but I had already went home thinking It'd be better on Amazon but wasn't going to make two trips so here we are. Works good.

First off, if you’re buying this as a toy for a toddler to pretend to look at stuff, its fine. For anyone that actually wants to look into space it’s useless. It super cheap, flimsy plastic, and the screws don't hold the lens adapters in place. When you try to use it at night, the only thing you can see is a full moon (and not much bigger than if you used your eyes). My son was all excited to see planets, stars, and stuff, felt so bad when I tried it and it was pitch black - except for the moon. As I said, you can see a bright moon, but no way you can see a planet. Regrettably, I threw away the box and I can't return it. It was one of many Christmas gifts and the box got crushed with the rest of the boxes before we had a chance to try it.

I got my granddaughter and her 2 kiddos (my greats) each telescopes for Christmas. My great grandson was surprised that I remember him talking about wanting one. He want to know if they could see heaven they lost their Daddy last August and of course I told him I know you can. He smiled so big and he said to his sister, now we can wave to daddy 😢 they haven’t used them that much but I get they will. They did look for Santa lolI’ll do a update after the Eclipse.

1. The tripod is not extendable. You’d better have a table exactly the right height to put this on if you want to see over something like a shrub or fence for something low on the ground or low to the horizon.2. All of the pieces are so flimsy and lightweight that the lightest touch moves pieces out of alignment. The process of turning the focus knob causes crazy jitter.3. The diagonal mirror is not optional for terrestrial viewing, because the tube isn’t actually long enough to deliver proper focus without it. That means that if you’re trying to focus on, say, a chimney or skyscraper to calibrate the finder scope, you can’t easily switch position between eyepieces and you will bonk your head into the tube while trying to use the finderscope, throwing the whole thing out of alignment.One reason why I don't regret the purchase: it's teaching my kid how to look with one eye through a telescope and the basic principles of operation. Can he see anything in the sky? Absolutely not. But he's having fun.

This is a great telescope for beginners. The instructions are really good. I have never used one before and it walks you step by step how to unpack and set it up. Also explains some useful info for looking at the planets and stars, as well as gives info to an app that helps find what's in the sky each night. I setup the telescope during the day like it suggests and could see the top of my neighbors house which is a good 100-200 feet away. When the half moon came out around 5:30pm I decided to try and look at it and I could locate it with the finder scope (which shows images upside down) but I had a hard time trying to get the moon in the viewfinder. It took me a good 30 mins and I ended up just moving it around til I could find it. The moon looked so clear once I adjusted the length of the lens and you can see the little craters especially at the middle of the moon. It was exciting to see. I'm not sure how the compass and scope are supposed to help but this newbie had issues. I'm going to watch a video online and maybe next time will be easier. I wish this telescope had a taller tripod. This thing is meant for you to lay down on the ground. I ended up setting it up on a little table I had outside and even that was too low and I'm 5'2". I can see this being a great starter telescope for kids or anyone on a budget. I am happy with this but if I'm going to look at the stars on a regular basis I might invest in an upgraded telescope in the future.

Now I’m not a telescope pro or anything nor know much about them but I at least thought when I got this for our son he may be able to see the moon at night we tried but it’s always been fuzzy and crappy looking maybe it’s us ‘user error’ I donno because I bought this solely based off the reviews I read thinking it’d work good but it sat in the closet all year I wish I returned it . It’s 2023 and hard to believe there’s nothing out there yet we can see the moon with cheap - I’m not asking for a nasa telescope here but that’s what I thought I could at least use this for - however during the daytime I did use it to look over a field and the resolution wasn’t too bad to see birds from far away after you get the focus to set in just right but if you move it the least lil bit you have to readjust everytime - unfortunately it didn’t work out for us and my 9 yr old had an awful time trying to use it as well.All in all maybe it does work well I’m just reviewing solely based on our experience so if you wanna buy to try it go ahead maybe you will have better luck than us !

انه Ùقط شكل تلسكوب ولكن ÙÙŠ الØقيقة مجرد لعبة لم ارى شيئا ابدا سوى نقطة ضوء بدون Ù…Ù„Ø§Ù…Ø ØªØ±Ù‰ بالعين المجردة اÙضل من هذه اللعبة لم يعجبني ابدا وتم ارجاعه واسترداد اموالي
