I don't know why, my husband and I have always both had the hardest time getting wine bottles open, so I was thrilled to stumble across this. I was hoping it might take some of the hassle out of the process, and I was right!This opener is just as described -- heavy-duty and very effective at doing its job. It's high in quality and super easy to use for a manual opener. It's easy as pie to not only get the corkscrew mechanism down through the cork but to leverage it out with the ergonomic arms. It works awesomely and without destroying the cork in the process.I love the packaging, as well. It's very elegantly presented and would make a terrific gift for a wine lover or addition to a wine-themed gift basket. Super happy with my order and can't recommend this highly enough.

Hubby is the wine drinker and bottle opener. He said this opener works great and feels good in your hand. I liked the presentation of the box it came in. Would make a lovely gift! Works just as expected and the box is so nice we debated keeping it to keep the opener in :D

the screw mechanism pulls the cork out was defective….to much effort to force the screw mechanism into the cork until it bite…..Quality control should have found this defect before shipping. Return for a refund

We have ordered plenty of corkscrews in the past, and many have been disappointingly too light and plasticky, or not strong enough for our uses. This Wine Chic corkscrew is all the things we wanted, and so far performs admirably.I will say we had a tiny bit of trouble getting it punctured into a cork initially, but a little bit of pressure is all it took. Once in, it grabbed the cork and pulled it out with ease. The arms are strong and it seems like it's going to last a good, long while with daily use.

I love how fancy this wine bottle opener comes packaged. The box it comes in is as sleek and functional as the tool itself! I had an electric wine bottle opener that broke and am so pleased to have this one as its replacement. A tried and true manual opener. The tool itself is high quailty and works wonderfully! I highly recommend this for your bar cart! *cheers*

This is a fantastic corkscrew. It is easy to use and the cork comes out perfectly and easily every single time. The box is nice, and this makes an excellent gift. The quality is superior!
