Great product and I am very excited! The pen loop is in the lower section though vs. the typical middle or top, but I think I will get used to it.

I was actually surprised by the quality. I’ve been using it daily for the last few weeks. It seems to be wearing well. So far any marks just add to the patina of the piece. The pen loop keeps me from misplacing pen and the leather loop is sewn in place. No fear of it breaking off. Good value for the price, I would recommend it.

In searching for a Hobonichi Cousin cover under $50 - I found this cover. It fits the Cousin (full year) perfectly. It is weightier than I expected as it seems to be thick veg tan leather (and the side flaps make it a bit heavy). A little stiff but it will soften over time. Leather is smooth/unmarked, finished perfectly (light waxy finish), and is a gorgeous shade of brown. Pen holder is large enough.

Excellent quality , beautiful and great price.The only problem is they need to cut them about 1/4 of an inch larger and sew about the same area as this one. A lot of books will be able to fit a new width. One of mine fit, the other I had to fold down the book cover!I am only going to review one of the three

I love this! Using it as a bible cover & it's perfect! The rich brown leather is classy and smooth and I'm sure it will only get better with use!

I’ve ordered this product twice in tan, but received the brown instead both times. They are both incredibly dark so I don’t believe it’s a mistake on my part. This is not Amazon’s fault because there is nothing on the label to indicate the color (they come completely wrapped so you can’t see without tearing it open), so the folks in the warehouse can’t select the correct one.The seller needs to label them so customers can receive the correct item.Otherwise, it’s a great product. Thick leather, and fits a composition notebook perfectly, which is what I want it for. I just really dislike the darker brown shade.

This journal cover from The Antiq has a beautiful, simple design and is slim enough to protect your journal or notebook without adding much bulk. I like the rustic appearance and that the leather marks easily for that broken-in look, which I prefer to some pompous, "luxury" finish. I personally don't see the point of adding card slots to an item like this, but they don't hinder my use in any way.
