I bought the 256*192 IR Resolution Thermal Imager first thinking it had better specs. The unit itself felt good in the hand. The case was nice. It showed temperature differences but the screen resolution left a lot to be desired. It was hard to differentiate what I was looking at. When the high temp warning indicator comes on it takes up a large portion of the screens picture. I RETURNED this oneI wasn't going to buy another Thermal Imager, until there was a promo on the 120*90 (NEW) version. The actual unit itself is the same feeling and size of the one that I returned. The difference is the new version you can adjust the amount of "THERMAL" that is displayed, you can have a digital only view without thermal or no digital view and ALL Thermal, and adjustment levels in between. The Thermal "image" can be moved to calibrate the picture so that the thermal is aligned to the digital image. So glad and happy with this NEW version. Customer service was quick to respond when I had a question. The pics attached u can see what the first camera looked like and what the NEW version shows. Yes its not a FLIR but its also not $5000, would definitely purchase again.

Easy to use and couldn't be happier. It is bigger than I expected which isn't a bad thing I guess. I'll update if things change.

Love this product, it is simple easy to use and gives suggestions for a ton of different material and what level you should be using to get the most accurate read. I found a wasps nest inside my house, found the nest where the ran use to live under my chicken coop, great for reading belt temps on the sxs.

I was weary not seeing any reviews but I'm glad I took the risk. Screen is huge in comparison to others, great for my aging eyes. The light is blindingly bright. Battery drain seems minimal. From others I'm seen, resolution is good. Overlay has 4 levels of adjustment. 4 color palettes. F and C seem accurate. Minimal lag. Seems sturdy. Saved image to sd card. Comes with a nice cloth case. Will update if anything changes.

If you are in need of a thermal imager I’d say look no further! This thing is great. No only is it a must have device for all kinds of applications but this one is incredibly intuitive with a well designed menu system and countless customisation features.You can choose through the majority of thermal colour palettes, what ever you need for the job. It can overlay the camera and the trigger is perfect for capturing images. It can read out the hottest and coldest points and there are plenty of options to work in most situations. Super simple to use, highly recommended!

Read the manual, set it up and it worked well, until I get a double circle with the word LOW in the middle of the screen. Nothing in the manual about it and attempts to contact company proved to be futile.

I wanted to like this thermal imager but it had some out of the box defects. The unit is well built, screen size and case is great, and resolution acceptable for the price point.The quality issues I experienced was the down cursor button did not work and the LED work light did not work. The battery had 100% charge when testing.Returning the unit, might roll the dice and buy the same unit in hopes that is fully functional when received, or buy a different oneBeware of the Vine Customer Review's for receiving free products....for this and other products...
