This is a great pillow. Compresses down really small and is super light. Does not take long to blow up and holds the air in. I'm a side sleeper so I paired with the Thermarest compressible pillow for a great combo! A huge plus that this is made in the US. I'd rather pay a bit more for a quality item that is made in America.

I'm a side sleeper and I prefer the bigger pillow. Comfy soft and good in cold weather. Seems durable

Bought this for a deep backcountry 3 night four day hike and camping in the Missions in Montana. Blew it up the first night and it worked fine. The next night it would not hold air. No puncture, not placed on bare ground. Being in the deep backcountry without a pillow and nothing to use in its place due to our ultra-light packing, (I'm 66) was awful. Cascade Designs has not responded to my notice of defect for 9 days.

Not bad. It'll work best if half inflated to get that softer pillow feel.

Way better than those cheap C-shaped airplane pillows that fail soon after buying. This is much more compact than any of those when deflated and it is quicker to inflate as well. When inflated, it's not too large for an economy seat headrest. Very easy to adjust firmness by fully inflating, then slowly unscrew the valve to let out air while you are resting your head on the pillow until you reach the firmness that is comfortable for you. Another advantage to this pillow over the C-shaped ones is that you can use it between your head and the sidewall of the aircraft much more easily. You can also more easily place this pillow between the tray table and the side of your head than the other type. Whose idea was those C-shaped pillows? They're stupid and don't work!

Nice shape and you choose how firm you want it. I have two. One I use under my head and the other I use lightly inflated to keep my knee’s comfy as I sleep on my side. Easy to get back in the stuff sack after you learn to fold it. Take a picture of the creases when you open it. Fold it like they did and you will be golden.

I thought that this pillow is self-inflatable but it's just a plastic bag in a fabric shell. And it costs $40!!!!

it just arrived, so far very happy. its tiny, super lightweight. haven't used it in the real world yet, but at about 75% inflation it feels very good when I lay down on my floor. so far very pleased. real world might change my opinion... Will update later if my initial excitement diminishes after first real use.

Ein weiteres Mal aufgeblasen... am nächsten Tag komplett flach. Ein weiteres Mal versucht aufzublasen und nichts ging mehr. Ein Daumengrosses Loch in der Naht.Nicht mal eine Nacht darauf geschlafen!Auf die Post, zurück geschickt, das gleiche Modell nochmals bestellt.Muss doch ein Montagsmodell sein oder?Zweiter Kauf:Mit Freude kam das zweite Päckchen an.Ausgepackt, aufgeblasen, auf den Tisch gelegt.Am nächsten Tag!!! Kissen platt!!! Great size, it packs in the palm of your hand, but blows up to a really nice size. Holds air all night, I take it on portage trips with me.

I've got it today and did a quick test. I've been trough a couple of air pillows and this one is the best. Shape is very comfort to sleep at, both sideways and on the back. Quite quiet even with the ear on it sideways. If you you place your head on the edge of the pillow it stays. The material is comfy and not slippery.I am quite happy with it although that the claimed 79 grams are not correct - it weights 10 more grams at 89 g. Still 3x+ lighter than my old ferrino, which is also a monster is folded size - you can see the comparison photos. Also the ferrino one is shaped badly and cannot sleep on it unless you are it the perfect middle position on it.
