This is the best food thermometer I have ever had. It is accurate. The stainless steel body makes it easy to read and easy to clean. It has a good, clean look and handles well. The external probe also works very well. The instructions can be improved a little, but you can figure it out in time. I am not sure why they don't make them all look and work like this. The only reservations I have is that the magnet is not very strong and I have only had it for about 7 months, so I can't speak about its longevity.

Besides its compactness and accuracy, I really love that it has an extension wire sensor so that you can monitor the temperature of something you're cooking in the oven or grill. That accessory works great...for example...roasting my Thanksgiving turkey. You can monitor the meat temperature without opening the over door or grill lid. You can set target temps, and it tells you (beeps) when its reached.

This is a great product. It worked as it should and also gives you options on the temp check. The set temp worked with the probe setting off an alarm. You can also check it by hand If u don't want to use the probe. I just wish the magnetic was a little stronger.

I've been using this thermometer frequently for 2 years ago and it's still "like new". It's very simple to use, has 2 probes (1st is fold-out, 2nd is on a long cable), has a built-in temperature alarm, and the screen is large, can light up with an easy-to-read amber color, and auto-rotates as you move the thermometer around. It charges quickly with the included USB cable and retains a charge for many months.The main temperature probe rotates outward from the handle, turning the device on. Rotating it back into its locking cradle turns it back off. The 2nd probe is removable and, when plugged in, provides a access to measuring something up to a yard/meter away, and the cable is flexible and super thin, allowing the probe to be easily placed into an oven w/o the cable interfering with the oven's seal.The thermometer is relatively fast, taking at the most 5 or 6 seconds to read something (e.g. my boiling beer wort). I also use it in my BBQ quite often and the light-up screen is very handy. The fold-out probe is extremely useful for quick ad hoc readings like walking out to my BBQ and getting a quick read on a steak. I especially like the remote probe (on the cable) for sticking the probe into a beef steak and placing it into the oven for slow cooking and removing it at precisely the correct temperature for letting my steaks rest and finish cooking.Overall, I find this thermometer to be sturdy, easy to use, accurate, and versatile. If this ever does wear out, I will certainly buy another one.

Very accurate, (tested with ice water and boiling water), has a setting for temperature alarm (great for prime rib and also monitoring oven temps for reverse sear cooking, keeping under 212 so your moistures/juices don’t boil and dry your meat)…. , has an instant in stab probe and an detachable wired probe. ….Accurate, stable temp alarms, detachable wired probe, usb rechargeable….. And just overall a great way to step up your cooking and grilling game!

One of the best features of this probe thermometer is ease of use for both left- and right- handedness as the orientation of the display adjusts whichever hand is used. The magnet is also a handy feature.

Very efficient, precise, compact and easy to use although the instructions regarding the wired probe settings could be clearer especialy the function of the green reset button in the back. The compact size is an advantage but the magnet to secure the thermometer to a metal surfce is weak and not useful . Very well lit and the sound is loud enough when the limit or set temperature is reached. I love it.
