Your cart is empty.Thermo-Tec Graphite Black Exhaust Insulating Wrap withstands continuous heat up to 2000°F, and contains no asbestos. Thermo-Tec exhaust wrap will not over-insulate a system when properly installed due to a proprietary coating developed by Thermo-Tec - Thermal Conduction Technology (TCT) - that conducts heat across the wraps surface. This coating controls heat build-up and dissipation. Wrapping headers and exhaust maintains hotter exhaust gases that exit the system faster through decreased density. Increased exhaust scavenging is produced, along with lower intake temperatures.

Worked great for what I needed. I loved the chrome but was tired of my drag pipes burning me and melting my pants everytime i ride.

Perfect. Exactly as advertised. Taking off 1 star because the photos show a much darker color than what you actually get. This is more of an ashy gray color once it's cured. I recommend purchasing a can of black hi-temp silicone sealant to coat this wrap before application.Measure, cut, spray with sealant, let dry for 24-48 hours, then wrap from pipe to header. Use a vise grip or good set of pliers to pull the metal clamps tight. It was a little tricky the first time I did it.

So far so good but does create a lot of smoke on the 1st and 2nd runs after the smoke it’s all good

I planned I need using this to wrap the exhaust when I get a chanc. However immediatly I used a 10" piece to insulate the k&n cool air kit tube from the metal mounts..made a big difference on the temp of the tube. Great product

June 4 was when I had wrapped my headers to my 1977 Chevy C10. Today is 08/06/2024 and that is how it looks. Horrible!!! Can’t even withstand the heat of a 350 small block

No problems. Used to wrap exhaust on Harley bagger 2-1 pipes. Plent of material. Might need more for dual exhaust.

It came with just a roll of 2†wide X 50’.No tie clampsI needed to check the internet for instructions no Silicone sealant that also has to be purchased separately then it becomes very pricey
