I've been looking for practice casting plugs like these for years. While they're probably great for training youngsters how to cast, I know they'll be perfect for my array of various bait casting reels from 100 thru 400 size. I do a lot of experimenting with various lines on my reels for multiple salt and freshwater applications, and these should fit the bill nicely. I have since ordered a second set.

Having fished for over 65 years, I recall during my boyhood practicing my casting for hours in my back yard. Initially, we used sinkers or hookless plugs for practice casting. My sister-in-law wanted to try her hand in spin fishing, so I purchased these practice plugs for her. i am impressed by the various weight selections to accommodate not only rod weights but the poundage of the casting lines. This is an excellent product!

Real good for all surfaces. Like when I'm bored and cast down the road in front of my house. Oh. The bright neon pickish color makes it easy to spot in distance. And variety of weight sizes to accommodate different reels and rods. I think i needed a little heavy but just hooked 2 largest.

Grandson says they are great for practice casting in grassy areas. These used to come when you bought a new reel! Not anymore but these work really good!!!Recommend all the way.
